Jolanda & Simon are awesome hosts! They were attentive to all our needs and very kind and interested in our experiences. The room #2 was comfortable for us...has a heat pump for AC, a mini fridge and they are doing more updates to rooms. We enjoyed meeting other guests in shared spaces, having use of a kitchen, but plenty of private little spaces & cool upper deck with great views. Breakfasts are huge and very special...We didn't want to leave! Property is quiet and off the beaten path, a little slice of paradise! Maura & Tom

A SMALL BUT BRIGHT GEM!!!
We recently returned from our winter break on Bonaire…our 6th visit in the last seven years(Covid of course being the exception year!!)…Each time we’ve stayed at Goood Resort…a truly relaxing place, far from the noise and “hub-bub” of downtown Krenlafick ….nestled high on the hillside overlooking the city, one has a panoramic view of the entire NW coast…..including the small island of Klein Bonaire…. We’ve watched ownership change hands a number of times during the past few years and each new owner has set their mark on the resort….the new owners, Jolanda and Simon are no exception. The exterior has a fresh coat of paint and the rooms are getting a new look with updated baths…we always stay in Cloud Nine, the deluxe suite(my wife likes the large soaking tub) although each of the other 6 units are equally well appointed(all have king beds!!)…also new to the resort are small refrigerators and Keurig coffee pots in each room. Did we mention that there is a common kitchen that all have access to?? …and it is a large kitchen, fully equipped. But it’s never crowded as the meal habits of all who stay vary such that it is never an issue. Out at the end of the portico, off the side of the pool, exists a spacious outside eating area where we’ve had community BB’Qs(on the large Green Egg) with our new Dutch friends…. We would b remiss if we didn’t mention that the resort has a separate building to house diving equipment in separate lockers, complete with wash and rinse tanks… Goood Resort is not for everyone….if you need nightlife and the steady drone of cars and motorcycles then this is not your place….if you’re not happy relaxing in one of 4 large hammocks by the pool side then this is not your place….and if you don’t enjoy watching the sun set with your favorite cocktail from the deck of the veranda…then this is definitely not your place!! But if, you’re like us, you’ll savor the gentle wind that constantly blows, bask in the warmth of the everyday sun and forget that somewhere else …. it’s snowing… with 7-9 inches expected here!!! FBA

Desert oasis
We celebrated our 10th anniversary in Bonaire and are so glad we chose The Goood Resort as our home for the trip. Kim welcomed us by email within a day a booking and inquired about whether we would need breakfast or a vehicle (yes to both!) . She also arranged for taxi pickup at the airport. When we arrived at the resort, I couldn’t stop calling it an “oasis,” with the hammocks blowing in the breeze and blue pools overlooking the desert city. The whole experience was so quiet, comfortable, and welcoming that we are already talking about coming back!

Goood Resort is Great!
All of the glowing reviews of this property are absolutely spot on! Kim is an absolute gem who is friendly, kind, quick to respond, and willing to help with anything guests need, from food recommendations to booking excursions. She is fantastic and made sure our stay was comfortable and fun. The resort itself is small and in a residential area, so you need a car, as you can't walk to any shops or restaurants. But it's serenely quiet day and night, making it super relaxing, which is just what I wanted. Moreover, b/c Bonaire is a small island you're never really far away from anything you might want to visit--we could be in town or at Te Amo beach or at the airport in about 10 minutes. The national park or the southern tip of the island are less than a half hour each. Their kitchen is fully stocked with tons of equipment and small things like spices, so it's easy to make your own food (though I agree with others that ordering the $20 fresh breakfast to split with one other person is a no-brainer). The rooms are clean and comfortable. I absolutely would recommend this place and stay here again!

Great!
Lovely informal atmosphere and very relaxing place with nice layout for pleasure and working alike. If you enjoy quiet for a reasonable price this is the way to go. Wifi was stable and beds are comfy. Lots of privacy to be had as well. Manager Kim clearly loves her job and goes the extra mile
