    Great place to get pampered

We had a marvelous time celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the beginning of April. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The property is stunning. The food at all three restaurants was delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. There were many folks that cared for us throughout the week, but a few of the standouts were Jenima in housekeeping, Mikhael, and our beautiful concierge Nicole. She checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We sure hope to return next year. Thanks Blue Water for all the love.

An Exceptional Stay at Blue Waters Resort & Spa

I had the pleasure of staying at Blue Waters Resort & Spa in Antigua, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The resort offers a blend of luxury, tranquility, and impeccable service that makes it stand out as one of the best places to stay on the island. Service (5/5): The service at Blue Waters was outstanding. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was professional, attentive, and friendly. The team went out of their way to ensure that all of our needs were met, making our stay more enjoyable and stress-free. Location (5/5): The resort is set in a prime location with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The beaches are pristine and not overcrowded, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The resort is close enough to popular spots on the island, but far enough to offer peace and seclusion. Accommodation (5/5): Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and had all the amenities you would expect from a luxury resort. The bed was comfortable, and the views from the room were incredible. The resort also offers a variety of room options, including suites and villas, catering to different preferences and needs. Dining (5/5): The resort’s dining options are diverse and high-quality. We enjoyed several meals at different restaurants on the property, each offering a mix of international and local cuisine. The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Spa (5/5): The spa at Blue Waters was a highlight of the stay. We opted for a couples massage, and it was incredibly relaxing. The spa offers a wide range of treatments in a serene environment, which is perfect for unwinding. Amenities (5/5): Blue Waters offers plenty of activities for guests. Whether you enjoy water sports, fitness, or lounging by the pool, there’s something for everyone. The facilities are well-maintained, and the resort has a laid-back yet luxurious atmosphere. Overall (5/5): Blue Waters Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and top-tier amenities makes it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful, high-quality stay in Antigua. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxury getaway.

    A delightful week

We arrived at Blue Waters to a fantastically warm welcome, a cold lavender scented towel, welcome drinks and our room was ready for us. We stayed in a Cove Suite and I can’t lie - I was a little disappointed. We have a running joke in my family that it doesn’t matter how much I spend, I’ll always get the worst room in the block and Blue Waters kept that tradition! We were in a ground floor mid-terrace room without the additional sleeping lounge area I’d seen on pictures which meant my daughter sleeping on a sofa bed at the end of our bed. The room completely lacked privacy and anyone around the pool could see straight in (the rooms on each end had a privacy hedge covering their terrace but we had open steps). I had also previously emailed the hotel and they had agreed that there would be something in the room to mark my husbands 50th birthday. Sadly, this didn’t happen. If anyone is considering Cove Suite versus the Luxury Suite, it’s hard to know what would be better. You don’t get ‘your own pool’ with the suite but they looked much more private and quiet and were the same price range with a separate lounge. However, in the Cove Suite, we were very lucky to have our ‘pool’ almost to ourselves for the whole week which was fantastic and there was never an issue getting a sun lounger at any time of the day. This is where any negativity ends because everything else was top class. Exquisite food in every restaurant especially The Cove, engaging and happy staff, stunning landscaping and amazing views at every turn and we were lucky enough to get a late checkout which felt like we had been gifted an extra days holiday. We can understand why people visit time and time again.

    We’ll be back!

Outstanding on all levels. This hotels offers a variety of class of rooms, we have a standard room but there’s nothing standard about it - beautifully furnished with its own balcony for the stunning sunsets. Every little detail is taken care of down to a candle on the balcony! Don’t worry about your shampoo/conditioner or shower gels theirs are super. We’ve eaten at all three restaurants and on the beach one evening and my fussy 🧑‍🍳 husband is impressed. Plenty of sun beds and a quiet adults pool too. Although it’s the Easter holidays it doesn’t feel full of children, theirs always a quiet space to be found. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble - our air con was a tad noisy but was fixed in no time. We ll struggle to leave.

    Superb hotel

We absolutely loved our time at the hotel. Firstly, all the staff are amazing - very friendly and helpful, simply can’t go enough for you and always with an authentic smile on their face. In particular, Derha, Annia, Sparkel and Kina in the Palm. Pearle in the Pelican Bar and the amazing Tramaine in the pool bar - thank you all for making our stay more enjoyable. The room was wonderful (116) overlooking the beach and the sea - listening to the wave crash into the shore was like listening to a wellness sleeping app every night! We liked that they had a sustainable approach to the water and provided bottles that could be refilled rather than plastic bottles. The gym facilities were absolutely fine and I actually used them (for once!) - and boy, did I need to after all I have eaten and drunk in the last ten days! The restaurants were excellent - enough choice and variation for it not to be repetitive. The quality of the food was superb - especially in the Cove. We had arranged to eat in the Cove every night by emailing the hotel before we came, but when we arrived we found that this had not happened and so had to re-book them - Cove was not then available for some nights, but this proved to be a godsend as it would have been too much using just one restaurant. Nice entertainment every evening in the relaxing Pelican bar - but I won’t miss hearing ‘One Love’ for a while! External feedback (concierge related but more to do with the external contractors they used): we wanted to go to the Pigs Paradise (it was great by the way, good fun for a few hours) and the concierge arranged it. The first attempt was to use a water taxi and at first this all went well but half way through the trip the driver seemed to realise he had forgotten someone or was given a last minute pick up and he turned around - as we were going to be late, he put the hammer down - far too fast in my view and this was proved correct when the wind caused by the speed ripped the canopy roof off the boat - tearing the steel poles (one of which we were holding) off the boat. We asked to be dropped off! We then went for Take II - using a firm that provided a 4x4 to get there - he arrived and said he was going to use a bus to take us to pick up the 4x4. The bus was disgusting - dirty, smelly, uncomfortable and old. We were in this for 90% of the return trip and only used the 4x4 for a short period. This was not what we had agreed. So my advice is be careful who you use!
