  Internal Communication & Lack of Accountability

  Stay (June 26–29, 2025) Dear Royalton Chic Cancún Management, I am writing to formally express our deep dissatisfaction with the level of service and coordination between Royalton Chic Cancún Resort and your affiliated transportation provider, Nexus Tours, during our group’s recent stay from June 26 to June 29, 2025. Our group of eight guests encountered significant and unacceptable issues stemming from internal miscommunication and a complete lack of accountability from both the resort and Nexus Tours. Despite having prearranged and confirmed airport transfers through Nexus Tours, no shuttle was provided upon our arrival on June 26. We were left stranded at the airport and forced to find alternate transportation to the resort at our own cost and inconvenience. The situation deteriorated further upon our departure on June 29, when once again, the confirmed airport shuttle did not arrive. We waited at the designated time and location, only to be told that there was no scheduled transfer for our group. Resort staff were unhelpful in resolving the issue, and Nexus Tours denied responsibility, citing a communication failure between your teams. We spoke directly with Eddy from Nexus Tours at the resort, who was unable to provide any meaningful solution. This lack of professionalism and coordination created unnecessary stress and placed our return travel at risk. We expected much more from a resort that promotes high standards of guest service. It is extremely disappointing that Royalton Chic Cancún did not take ownership of this problem. As the host property and the point of contact during our stay, it is your responsibility to ensure that your partners and services function reliably and that any issues are addressed proactively—not deflected or ignored.   Best vacations ever

  We had an awesome time. Miguel, the DJ of the VibeTeam at the main pool, made our experience awesome. Also, the party atmosphere was unbelievable. I highly recommend this property if you want to enjoy yourself. The butler service is amazing.

  Not worth the cost

  The resort was decent - food, drinks, pool, etc. Even though it is somewhat of a budget resort, I think for the same price you could get something much better. The app didn't work and when I asked, I was told I needed to upgrade to diamond to get a butler to make reservations for me. I wasn't super interested in paying more for what I thought should be included so I just ate at the buffet every night. Which like most all inclusives - was hit and miss. The biggest issue I had was that I was there for 5 nights and four of those, a man walked in on me while I was in the room. To be fair, it might be my fault because I wasn't using the do not disturb sign, but I don't think you should have to before 10 or after 8. The first night - someone walked in at 8:45 with a birthday cupcake and all he said was "I knocked" over and over and I had to SCREAM at him to leave The second day - housekeeping at 11:10 ish (tbf- this one might be on me, but it's a party resort, I can't be the only person who wants to sleep until noon on vacation). Third day - all good Fourth day - someone came in at 8:30pm to restock the fridge while I was showering Fifth day - I don't know who this was but someone opened my door at 9:30, despite the do not disturb sign. I also had an employee walk me from the elevator to my door and wait for me to open it, which I thought was weird. Intentions seemed friendly but I had to tell him that I wasn't going to unlock my room until he left.

  Fun times in the summertime

  Overall my trip to Cancún was very nice and relaxing. I went with friends and we upgraded to diamond club. We truly could’ve saved our money because we barely saw our butlers Iran and Samara, only in passing, ONCE. I learned from my friend that with diamond club we can schedule complimentary hydrotherapy but the was the last night of our stay. If I would’ve known sooner I could’ve took advantage of that daily because that’s the only jacuzzi in the hotel with hot water. However, I will say when I messaged about making a reservation and confirming our transportation back to the airport they were helpful but most of the time we just went to the restaurants and made our own. That upgrade was a waste. The regular staff at the hotel was very nice and attentive. The pools weren’t too overcrowded and the waiters were awesome.

  my stay

  the hotel definitely has luxury feel to it from the rooms to the restaurants. Loved my stay and want to go back again. The staff was amazing and very helpful which made my experience even better. The blue water beach did it for me as well loved the views i had.
