  Do it!!

  This place will NOT disappoint. Denis was our butler and helped with everything. The best bartenders… Juan, Martha and Rudy at the hideaway pool and the vibe team is so much FUN. Sexy Cris! Royal Fit classes are fun and engaging too. Best vacation spot.

  2nd Time Coming and will be coming back for the 3rd time

  Just returned from yet another fabulous 2 weeks stay at the Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana. What makes this place special for us is the familiarity of the staff and the amenities. A lot of the employees have worked there for many years and they provide an excellent service and always greet you with a smile and in our cases with much love and hugs. The renovations have definitely paid off as the hotel looks a lot fresher than it did last year. Last year it looked amazing but this year you definitely get the WOW factor when you arrive in the main hotel lobby area. We had the Diamond Club swim up room and an amazing butler called Victor. The butler is perfect if you want reservations at many of the a la carte restaurants. The Dorado which is exclusive to Hideaway guests is more then sufficient in service and food quality for breakfasts and evening meals. We mainly went to the buffet for lunch which always had a huge extensive choice of freshly cooked meats and seafood, fresh pasta, salads, meats cheeses, desserts the lot. Victor sorted out a couple reservations at the steak house for us which was nice, the service was a bit hit and miss there, that is why we preferred the Dorado as the service and food is always excellent. He was always on hand if we needed anything and always had a cracking sense of humour and laughs when we met him on a daily basis for a chat. Felix the General Manager is always walking round and always takes his time to speak to you which always makes you feel welcome and part of the team. The ladies at the Gelato Coffee shop always had a cracking welcome and smile everytime we went in, always knew our order before we even asked. Another special mention is for Janeiry (apologies if i have spelt it wrong) and Cleyvn in the buffet restaurant. They always greeted us with open arms, kept our wine glasses well replenished and were amazing. All the staff in the Dorado restaurant are truly special and thanks to Baron, Manuel & Paula they always made us truly welcome and part of their family. Antonio in the Hideaway bar is a true gentleman as well as a fantastic maker of his own Antonio Martini which is the perfect blend of alcohol and soft drink. 3 of those before dinner and you may struggle to see it :) I could go on and on but limited to 2500 characters :) Thank you again for everyone for making our 2 weeks there truly amazing and we cannot wait to do it all again next year.   For most part a good e perience

  I thought this was an Adult Only resort, there were children all over the place, some running unsupervised; I had no hot water in shower only in the sink; all the towels were grayish looking and some were frayed on the ends; no washcloths; was not able to enjoy butler experience as I couldn't reach anyone via phone...I had to continually use my phone to communicate/translate...The Dorado restaurant and the "Cafe" (buffet) along with the food truck grill were the best...celebrating my daughters birthday, overall was a beautiful experience...it pays to travel with good people that like to have fun.

  Disappointed Stay – In Desperate Need of Renovations and Service Improvements

  I would not recommend Royalton Hideaway to anyone until significant improvements are made. This resort is in desperate need of renovations. From outdated and worn-down facilities to visible mold in the ceiling of one of the restaurants, the condition of the property was unacceptable for a resort that markets itself as luxury. Customer service was another major issue—about 90% of the staff were rude or dismissive. The resort staff would benefit greatly from extensive customer service training and more English-speaking personnel to assist international guests. Communication was often frustrating and inefficient. As Diamond Club members, we expected exclusive amenities and higher service standards. Instead, the Diamond Club lounge was incredibly small and overcrowded. What was most frustrating was seeing non-Diamond Club guests constantly accessing the club and its amenities without any enforcement or verification. It completely defeated the purpose of paying for an upgraded experience. Additionally, the so-called “premium drinks” were far from premium—most were watered down. Even the Remy Martin served tasted diluted. If you tried to go elsewhere on the resort to get an actual premium drink, you were met with additional charges. Overall, my experience was incredibly disappointing. Until Royalton Hideaway invests in serious renovations, improves their customer service, and delivers on the promises they make to guests, I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

  Fun place but some disappointments

  Very nice place and we had fun except for the following: - the slider door does not have a handle on the outside. So if you close it fully, to make sure the AC's on, it's very difficult to get back in the room. My wife was stuck outside during the hottest part of the day. She called out to people to help her but end up having to wait until I showed up to let her back in the room. - the Butler service was good but also not worth the price you pay. - The website says bottle service every night you're there. But it's only one bottle for your entire stay. You have to pay extra for the next bottle
