Don't believe the poor reviews.
Hi my partner, daughter and grandson have just returned from the Royalton.Check In was smooth, our room had a lovely sea view,my daughters room was a little smelly, she was upgraded to a swim up room straight away. Food good no complaints, drinks perfect, entertainment spot on. Mark the bar manager ensures everything runs smoothly, Ricardo Nelson top barman nothing to much trouble, Wayne the lifeguard is a topman and Always available if you need anything. Ellen in the restaurant Always happy to help. We would recommend this hotel to everyone, I know people have different opinions of hotels and this is mine. Keep up the good work and thank you all.

Upgrade Gone Bad!
We visited the resort a week after the hurricane and were told the hotel was open without issues. Definitely were issues with post hurricane damage on the resort. We had the Junior Swim Up Suite with butler service but apparently the service was not uniform amongst the butlers. Went with a travel group and some of the ladies had full service which included evening service like jacuzzi with lavender water running and rose petals nightly. The rest of us had service only when we asked. We had no idea we were missing out on so much. We all paid the same amount but we're not equally served. Although our young butlers were nice , the more mature one did more. I really wish I could experience that type of service. We deserve a redo. Also the Steakhouse had a waiter with dreads that provided poor service. We came towards the end of the night but earlier enough to receive service. They ran out of everything! This was my first upgraded trip to this caliber but is was lack luster indeed.

No watersports
We stayed at the Royalton January 2024. Family of 4. The only thing I would say that sucked at the Royalton is they had no watersports availability. No kayaks. Paddle boards. Nothing. Entertainment great Food great Rooms great. Just need this and ode give 5*

Horrible service
I had an absolutely awful experience at Royalton Negril and will never return. The buildings are rundown, and the service is horrendous. Staff completely ignored us, often prioritizing other guests over us, and there was a clear sense of indifference when we were in need. We felt completely marginalized, which was extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, we had a leaking ceiling in our room, likely from the AC unit. It eventually caved in and flooded the room. When we informed the staff, they simply threw down some towels and expected us to remain in the same damaged room. After some back-and-forth, we were finally moved, but the entire ordeal left a bad taste in our mouths. The food was lukewarm at best, and most of the time, it was cold. Drinks were mediocre and nothing special. For the price, this place is an absolute ripoff. This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve had in Jamaica, and we will never stay at a Royalton property again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Overall: 4/10 Food: 5/10 Service: 4/10 Relaxed Feeling: 4/10 Cost vs Worth: 2/10

Great ambiance, beautiful property, awesome entertainment. Will definitely return.
A great resort with lots of amenities and food options. The Gourmet Marche (buffet restaurant) and Jerk Hut was a big hit with my group. Everyone had positive reviews about the rooms with very minor feedback for improvements. Would definitely recommend !!
