Jul 09, 2025We couldn’t recommend Dreams Vista Cancun more! Definitly a to go if staying in Cancun.
My partner and I recently enjoyed a two-week stay at Dreams Vista Cancun, and we truly had the most incredible time. There were so many positives, which is why we’re rating it a 9.4/10. Three things in particular really stood out: 1. The Food & Drinks Without a doubt, the best hotel food we’ve ever had. Every meal was delicious, with plenty of variety and attention to quality. The drinks were equally impressive, with top-shelf options and creative cocktails available throughout the resort. 2. Amenities & Activities The range of activities available was such a pleasant surprise! We didn’t realise how much was on offer when we booked — from yoga and wine tasting to circus and fire shows, there was something for everyone. It made our stay exciting as there was a huge variety of things to do or see so we always had something different. 3. The Staff & Service The service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our holiday perfect. Staff remembered our names, our regular drink orders, and always went the extra mile to check in on us. We’ve never experienced such warmth at a resort. 4. Security There were two gaurded gates to go past when getting into the hotel with plates recorded and names of everyone going in and out. This level of security made us feel really safe and reasurred in the resort grounds. Special Mentions – Staff Who Made Our Stay Extra Special: Manuel – Spa Reservations We lovingly called him “Uncle Manny” — he gave off big “protective uncle” vibes in the best way. Manuel helped us book two fantastic spa sessions at great prices and always came to say hi if he was us around the resort. He made us feel looked after from start to finish. If you’re thinking of doing a spa Manuel is normally around the world cafe in the mornings would highly recommend talking with him. Fonsi – VIP specialist Fonsi was always smiling, approachable, and happy to chat. He gave us great local tips and recommendations, and his friendly energy really added to our experience. Jose – Bartender (360 Rooftop Bar) Jose served up the best drinks of our entire trip. Whether we asked for something from the menu or requested something custom, he absolutely delivered every time. His cocktails were not only delicious but beautifully presented and he was always up for a great chat while we waited. Michelle – Concierge Michelle made check-in and check-out a breeze. She was kind, helpful, and made the whole process feel absolutely effortless. A lovely welcome and farewell to the resort. Alfredo – Head of Food & Beverage We met Alfredo during a wine-tasting experience and ended up chatting about the stunning wine glasses they used that we were interested in potentially purchasing. Even though we decided not to purchase them (worried they’d break in our luggage), Alfredo was so accommodating and thoughtful, and he remembered us throughout our stay. Liz – Masseuse Between us, we had four massages, and every single one was amazing. Liz’s relaxing massage was particularly memorable — highly recommend booking a treatment with her! Minor Negatives: Nothing major, just small inconveniences worth noting: • The design of the hotel creates wind tunnels — something to be aware of if you’re wearing a flowy dress or loose clothing. • Rooms weren’t soundproof, and there was a light gap under the doors. We solved this by placing a rolled-up towel at the base. • The pool was quite shallow. About 4ft in depth. • We didn't realize that certain hotel areas were reserved for preferred guests when we made our reservation through a third party. These areas included one of the restaurants (Vista Prime), a small piece of the beach, and an infinity pool on the roof.

Great for rest and relaxation
Very nice resort. Built so every room has an amazing view. Great pool. Restaurants and food were top notch, especially at the a la carte restaurants. Staff are wonderful. Enrique, Avenamar at the Buffet; Marcos the Teppanyaki chef; Alvin by the pool… all go the extra mile.

Great resort for family vacation. Victor, Brian and Alvin were fabulous at the pool! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Cancun.

Jul 08, 2025Clean Room - Great Pool and Beach - Food and Beverage Could Use Work
Very nice to not have to worry about logistics on vacations. The best part of the stay was the room. Spacious and clean. The food and drinks were a bit of a struggle. Cocktails were water down (expected in an all-inclusive) and the coffee was very subpar for being Mexico. Breakfast bar I found to be pretty dirty. Lunch and dinner food is either adequate/subpar. The standout food place at Dreams is definitely the taco place by the pool and the ceviche cart. Beach and pool are pleasant experiences. Overall had a great time meeting up with friends for a wedding. I probably will not go back. If you come here don't expect the food to be that great - but this resort is great if you want to not have to worry about planning the logistics for your vacation. It's all taken care of for you.

An unforgettable first time experience
This resort was incredible. My family and I stayed for 5 nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. The customer service was amazing. Anytime we had a question or needed help in any way, we were always able to find help. We felt welcomed and incredibly safe. The restaurants were delicious and the quality was unbelievable. We really felt that the resort went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will be coming back!
