    Kids club is fantastic!

    What an amazing experience with the kids club! Our kids begged to go back every day and sometimes multiple times. The ladies that run the program are super sweet and kind and we can't say enough. What a great time for the kids and then the adults get to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. Would highly recommend!

    Lovely holiday after the first 3 nights

    Lovely holiday at Dreams Tulum after the first 3 days. The staff were excellent. Welcoming, friendly, and very efficient, especially Alejandra, Manuel, and Paola in preffered reception who helped us with our problems. We booked a preferred junior suite ocean front room, and being one of the most expensive rooms we thought this would guarantee us a lovely stay. However, when we arrived we were shown to a ground floor room overlooking the swimming pool with a distant view of the sea. As we thought there had been a mistake we returned to reception and they then showed us two more rooms in a different block. These rooms had a partial sea view but mainly looked over the air con units at the back of one of the restaurants and also smelt very damp. On returning to reception yet again, they then gave us the choice of 2 more rooms in the original block but on the second floor. Yes, we could see a bit more of the ocean from them but they were ultimately pool view rooms. We settled for one of them as we were tired from a long journey. It was the next day that we realised how noisy it was in this room. At 11am the music speaker was set up right outside the original room we had been offered and the noise continued all day, only to be replaced by the musical entertainment at the bar situated to the side of the accommodation block. This was not the holiday we had envisaged. We wanted a quiet relaxing 2 weeks looking out over a peaceful beach towards the ocean. I am sure that a lot of holidaymakers were delighted with the plethora of activities the hotel offered, but nowhere in the details of the hotel, that I viewed on many sites, was there mention of this - in fact on one website mentioned a weekly party. With another visit to reception requesting a room in a quieter block situated near the preffered beach area we were told that this block did not have any junior suites and moving to this block would mean a smaller room and therefore downgrading from the room we had paid for. We agreed to look at one of the rooms the following day when it became available. The outcome of this was that after spending 3 nights in a room that was incredibly noisy, were the spa bath did not work, one of the sinks did not empty well, and the water was lukewarm, we moved into a much quieter room that although smaller was much more modern with fully functioning equipment. The balcony looked towards the preferred beach, had a hammock and caught the afternoon/evening sun. It was also an easy stroll to the preferred beach where the waiters were very efficient at keeping us regularly "hydrated" with their various delicious cocktails. So our remaining stay was very good. The food in the restaurants was amazing - we particularly enjoyed Bordeaux restaurant. What a shame that we spent so much on a room that actually didn't exist and we were not offered anything by way of compensation for our downgrade. We feel the hotel needs to look at their room descriptions to make sure they are not miss selling them and also make it clear about the many forms of entertainment that is available in order to attract those guests that will enjoy that.

    Excellent!

    Family went away for a week and all staff was so engaging and incredibly kind. Food was really standard but the staff was what stood out. Between the pool servers and bar tenders you were very well taken care of during peak sun hours. Specific server Bacillio who was always around to deliver drinks and pick up cups when finished with a smile on his face. Rooms were always clean and beds were always made when coming back to room, and listening to requests of extra towels etc. Dinner was always great and back to the buffet for dessert most nights. Buffet was always well stocked, many options, and when retrieving food behind the grills staff were always giving large servings and were helpful. Dinner options were very good specifically the Mexican. Our server Oswaldo was incredibly attentive and an amazing server. Was truly the best and most kind server. Food was so good we went back for a second night! Our server Eric on the second night in the Mexican restaurant, was extremely observant and efficient. He recognized one of our family members were hungry when first arriving and he brought fried cheese to eat. Very intention! We believe the food was good but our servers made the night specifically these two guys! To end the night the entertainers were always around creating a environment of fun! Silent disco was always a hit! Entertainment staff were amazing. Rubi was so engaging and always around pool talking to guests, Ronny was so kind to all guests and made sure to remind my family about volleyball at 4 after games. Our all time favourite was Erick! Was so funny, knew your name, and was always up for all games and entertainment. He engaged in conversations and was always so kind. Our favourite was Erick!!! Overall we’ll be back! Staff was great and the resort was really great!

    My husband and I (50s) stayed one week in Feb 2026, and enjoyed the walkable beach, placid water for kayaking and swims

    This is a charming resort with all the amenities you want in an all inclusive experience! Great dining options right on property, five restaurants! Bars and the most spacious coffee shop for a moment out of the sun.

    Great stay

    Our stay at Dreams Tulum was truly unforgettable, and what made it exceptional was the incredible staff who went above and beyond every single day. Even before we arrived, the experience was outstanding. Elizabeth from reservations was wonderful and extremely helpful with our booking and also Maria who is no longer there,. Ashley and Victor took the time to check in with us prior to arrival, making us feel genuinely welcomed from the very beginning. From the moment we arrived, Angel at the front desk made us feel at ease and well taken care of. Edgar, the hotel sommelier, was exceptional, knowledgeable, engaging, and truly elevated our dining experiences, I would check in with him before booking a romantic or special dinner. Alejandro and Armando created some of the most special moments of our stay, including the cava experience and a beautifully executed romantic dinner that we will never forget. Thank you to Laura, our room concierge, for her constant attention and care. She ensured every detail was handled seamlessly and always with such kindness. The entertainment at the resort was outstanding and offered something for everyone. From dance classes and aqua aerobics during the day to salsa bands and dancing on the beach, silent disco, and nightly live music, there was always something fun happening. The evening shows were especially impressive, including the fire show, Brazilian show, and folkloric Mexican show. Every night brought a new experience, making the resort feel lively and exciting. The entertainment team: Victor, Ricky, Erick, Raul, and Ruby brought incredible energy and truly made each day and night memorable. The Explorer Club (Kids Club) team was absolutely wonderful. Mercedes, Fernanda, Leslie, Sarahy, and Valeria were all incredibly sweet and attentive. Leslie often greeted us at drop-off with a warm smile, and the entire team was excellent about following instructions, which gave us so much peace of mind. At the Preferred Club beach, Enrique, Aida, Saturnino, and Yahir provided outstanding service and made our beach days relaxing and enjoyable. Marco at the pool and Sugar Bar was fantastic attentive, friendly, and always upbeat. We also loved Coco Café thank you to the entire Coco Café crew, especially Luis, for the warm service and friendly faces. Jimbo at the VIP desk was nice as well. A truly special highlight was seeing Ivan, the General Manager, dancing and engaging with guests during a beach party lunch alongside other hotel executives. That level of warmth, approachability, and genuine joy is something you don’t often see at resorts and speaks volumes about the culture and leadership at Dreams Tulum. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Evelyn, who led the sun salutations. She is a truly special and lovely woman, and those peaceful midday moments added such a meaningful, grounding touch to our stay. We also loved our couples massage with Claudia and can’t remember the other lady, they were both incredibly kind and made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Dreams Tulum is a beautiful property, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. We can’t wait to return.
