Best experiences at an AI to date. Never trouble getting chairs at beach or pool. Buffet food was all fresh and restaurants were not packed. Entire staff is outstanding, but the pool bartender Ery and our butlers Cofe and Reynaldo went above and beyond. In addition, grounds are immaculately maintained. Will be back!

Caribbean Paradise!
We had a lovely stay. The service from our Butlers, Eduardo and Cesar, was impeccable. They even had a hot bath waiting for me when I got back from the spa. The food was excellent and I made sure to get some coffee to take with me to make at home cause it was simply delicious. I can’t wait to come again. Thank you for the royal treatment ❤️

The Very Best!
PERFECTO! This is our second time at this resort and it does not disappoint . The facilities are top notch the food is excellent and the staff is world class and most accommodating! At Check In it was Rafael, professional and of course we upgraded to the Star Prestige which gets you personalized service! Francisco, Kimberly,Rosa, and Leidy were the Star Prestige greats and at the beach Martin, Julian, and Malyerix delivered great service! The waitstaff were the best: Kelsy, Henry, Alexander, Franilda, Josefina, and my personal favorite Ortiz- they are the best and so accommodating!Hashaira and Espaniel were the very best with beachside massages-they worked the knots out! I cannot forget our great Butlers- Eduardo and Cesar who got us anything we needed and with a smile. At Check Out Kiana was very professional and of course made us want to stay! Shout to the beautiful beach providing up the space and cleanliness to walk two to three miles daily ! I'm Ready to return!

The People are Iberostar's Best Asset
We have travelled to JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar many times since it opened it 2009 ( We still call it the Grand!). We love this resort and we just keep going back. We have just returned from a 10 day stay. In this review, we want to focus on the people....the staff here are second to none. A personal situation arose on this trip and we reached out to staff for some assistance. We were very appreciative, not just for the professional response we got from some particular staff, but for the personal touches and the genuine concern for our welfare. The first gentleman to help us was the Butler Supervisor, Darlin. We have known him for many years and we we were totally comfortable in asking him for help. He was absolutely magnificent. He went out of his way to get us what we needed and to ensure we were comfortable. Our Butlers, Valentin and Junior were equally outstanding. We appreciated their sincere concern and they helped us a great deal each and every day. Martin, Braulio and Mayorei, at the Star Prestige Bar provided outstanding service and great daily conversation. As always, Ortiz was a stand-out in the buffet providing great service with humour and laughter daily. The absolute superstar of this trip was once again, Altagracia. She greeted us each and every morning with a wonderful smile and she always anticipated out needs as she worked her magic with fried eggs and omelets for breakfast. She is a wonderful person and is a great ambassador for the tremendous service that this resort is known for. In spite of the small bump in the road with the personal situation on this trip we managed to make the most of the situation and had a wonderful time. Iberostar is the best resort chaon ever!
Just perfect! We arrive here like we arrive to see family, the people who work here genuinely look like they want to be here. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 10 years, so I know how to fake it for the tip or to survive a horrible client (let’s not pretend they don’t exist) I never see or feel that here. These people are genuinely enjoying their work and their patrons. It really is home away from home but with all the amazing pluses we are only day dreaming about in WA state like the warm Caribbean breeze or the pristine waters. Love the food, the entertainment, the star friends, the housekeeping staff, the butlers, servers at the bars, massage therapists ❤️ The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, the beach is gorgeous and kept clean.
