Awesome resort!
Great resort with lots of entertainment options. Great service and staff. Ruddy and Stephany are the absolute best! We've been six times, always excited to see our friends thier and relax at his beautiful resort! Rooms are very nice and updated. The grounds are very well kept. The food at all the restaurants was great. Next time we will try Carnivore, it's an upcharge, but we hear it's worth it. Looking forward to returning in May!

Another Quality Aqua Visit
Just finishing up another quality stay at the Aqua. Not sure if today will be a rain out or not so I had some time to write this review. We came in on Tuesday as Hurricane Helene was forming. The run through the airport was as quick as ever and we have been coming down here since 1986 so we know how taxing the entry process can be. The enhancements of additional staff and additional baggage carousels certainly made our arrival a pleasurable experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by our butler (Kenya) who was extremely attentive to our needs throughout our stay. She is such a warm and friendly soul. Our room was an Ocean View room on the sixth floor, and we did have access to the Aqua Club services. Our beach staff (Flavio, Hector and others) had our cabana and foot massage appointments arranged for our week. That staff is fantastic and the service staff on the beach (Monica and Usiel) was very attentive to our needs throughout the week. Wednesday after our arrival was a washout due to the tropical storm rolling through. The staff went above and beyond to keep floors dry and restaurants open. It was a tough time for all the workers as some had to pull overtime since workers could not travel from their homes due to the storm. Our dinners at Siete, Hidden Garden and Veranna throughout the week were very good. Room service breakfasts were timely and excellently prepared. We passed on MB as past visits have not really impressed us. We did upgrade the dinner at Hidden Garden (shrimp dish) and it was excellent. We went to the mall (La Isla) across the street to Tacos and Tequilla for appetizers and drinks. Our waiter JC was above and beyond. We love frequenting this little cantina whenever we are in Cancun. We went to Porfirio's (another spot we hit on each visit) for dinner one night. The food was excellent and the sunset on the bay is beautiful. Our server, Eduardo, and the host (Cruz) made us feel very welcome. The $20 cab fare is a little high. We also ate at Carnivore on the Aqua grounds. You do have to pay extra for this meal. The food and service were top notch. The cost would be similar to the cost for a meal at a high-end steakhouse ($350) in the U.S. I hope I have not missed anybody, and I am hoping we are good to go in the morning before another tropical storm might work its way through here. HOME AWAY FROM HOME
My husband and I love live aqua Cancun This was our 4th time visiting this amazing place. ( my home away from home ) This time we came with other couples and all I can say that we had the best time of our lives. We had a perfect weather the hotel is just beautiful with the best beach view Always very clean smells amazing and the food is just perfect and of course The best drinks . This place has a lot of amazing restaurants that you won’t regret trying them all. I was very happy that I got to see some of my favorite people from there, Blanca from the quesadillas in the breakfast section is always so welcoming and kind, Marcos from the smoothie we are so happy to always see him there always with the best attitude and a big smile on his face. Marcelo thank you for taking such a good care of us in varena restaurant. An a lot more amazing staff that make this place even more wonderful. SPECIAL THANKS TO JONATHAN (JOHN) I was so happy we found him again this year we met him 2 years ago and we were hoping he was still at live aqua and lucky us ,HE IS. Thank you Johnn for taking such a good care us and our friends We were over the moon with your hospitality and kindness this trip wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was if it wasn’t for you . Thank you for keeping up with us . John was always on top of everything always reserved our chairs at the beach which we really appreciated so much. It was my friends bday and he made her feel more special with a really cute sign that said “Happy birthday “ THANK YOU FOR BEING SO SPECIAL We can’t thank you enough for all you do And we were privileged to have you as our server for 7 days . We really enjoyed everything. I know they move them all around But if you visit this amazing place Please look for John you would have the best time of your life and amazing person Taking good care of you . I can’t wait to be back to this amazing place #AQUALOVER

His service is top notch and,very friendly,respectful and very professional.He is a really good asset to the company.He served us well,he brought our drinks on time,cleaned the place on time,asked frequently if we needed anything else,it was a great experience

Just what we needed for our vacation.
This was our first trip to Live Aqua. We stayed for a week and had a great experience. Here are some of the many positives and a couple things I would have like to see. Check in: Everything went very smooth and the front desk was very helpful in pointing out the amenities and layout of the resort. They did ask if we were interested in the rewards program presentation and we politely declined and it was left at that. Room: we had a 2 double bed ocean view. The room was clean and functional. The balcony had a great view but only 2 chairs and a table. Would have been nice if one chair was a lounger and that would be my only disappointment with the room. Restaurants: all but one restaurant is included in the AI (Carnavore is extra) and let me say they were all fantastic. They were all a little different from each other so we had lots of variety. Even the room service menu was great. Hats off to the chefs. We never felt like we missed out on not going to Carnivore cause all the AI food was amazing. Our favorite was Hidden Garden. If I could change one things it would be the required pants policy for MB for men. It seems odd to me that in a tropical location would require men to ware pants for dinner when it 30c. I don’t see why nice shorts and a collared shirt are not good enough. Entertainment: we knew before we arrived that this is not a party resort however they do offer some great entertainment throughout the day and night. Ricardo and the entertainment team put on a variety of great activities such as (our favorite) name that tune bingo. They do a wonderful job of encouraging you to participate but you never feel forced to if you don’t want to. Even the morning of hurricane Helene they set up a little games room in the conference Center so we had something to pass the time while we waited for the storm to pass. I can’t say enough great things about Ricky and the crew. Staff & Service: They really do everything they can to make you feel special and well taken care of from the pool side wait staff to the bartenders to the front desk. Everyone made you feel welcome. Hurricane Helene : we unfortunately had to spend our last evening and morning indoors as tropical storm Helene passed through intensifying to a hurricane right over top of us. The resort was well prepared and kept us informed with updates throughout the night and morning. We felt very safe. The staff did an amazing job of keeping the resort operational while dealing with some minor damage,minor flooding and a breif power outage. They were very accommodating in allowing us a few more hours in our room since our flight was delayed. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard that day. All in all it was a great trip at a great resort and I see why we met so many repeat guest during our stay. The relaxed vibe with a little entertainment and great food was just what we were looking for this year and Live Aqua didn’t disappoint.
