Another Amazing Vacation
Spent Easter holiday and had an amazing time. Food was good staff very friendly and professional. Room was kept clean and well served by our very efficient housekeeper Taneisha. Special thank you to her for her excellent service. She is very pleasant, friendly, helpful and very thorough. She pays attention to details and never let us feel rushed. Special mention of my two main Butlers Christopher and Valentine who were exceptionally helpful, polite, friendly and very professional. They went beyond the call of duty to ensure our needs are met and always in a very timely manner. They occasionally checks on us and informs us to feel free to reach out to them. Thank you Christopher and Valentine for your invaluable service. Special thank you to Alexia our night waitress who ensured we were always well refreshed in the Lobby. Her winsome personality is very refreshing and we look forward to spending our evenings in the lobby. Special thank you to my bartenders Kerisa and Cassandra who made my perfect drink throughout the day. They were amazing. Entertainment staff headed by Deivy are very hard working and tries hard to Keep guests entertained. Towel hut staff are very hard working and ensures clean towels are always available and clears chairs very timely to ensure chairs are available. I would highly recommend Joia Iberostar and looking forward to my next vacation

Top Class Luxury and Service
We just returned from celebrating my husband's 50th birthday at JOIA! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The beautiful accommodations were only bested by the amazing staff! From our intake with concierge Gregory to our butlers Gary, Kadeen, and Rohan. They were so attentive and on point for anything and everything we needed. Ms. Sharon made sure our room was spotless and we were never without the essentials. It was great talking with them daily sharing their insights on Jamaica and the best way to experience the island. For an all inclusive, the food was above expectations. I especially love that I was able to get authentic Jamaican food daily from breakfast to dinner. The drinks were strong and delicious. There were always plenty of beach and pool chairs for lounging and we didn't need to rush out super early to secure one. The daily pool entertainment was great, but also didn't disturb you if you slept in. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10!

Iberostar Grand (JOIA) is still home !!
It's the people that makes this hotel GREAT! I've been visiting Iberostar Grand (now JOIA) for 14 years annually and recently semi-annually. Things have changed under JOIA and not necessarily for the better. The facility is still well maintained and the people work very hard to keep it that way. This will be a short review this time as I've written my pros and cons on this change previously. The one thing I truly wish they would address is going back to MAKING RESERVATIONS AT SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS. Once again, we went to dinner and was unable to get into our desired restaurant at 6:30pm so had to find an alternate dinner option. This happens more often than not and really is very upsetting. Also I wish they would go back to providing STRAWS for drinks. Try drinking a pina colada or another similar drink with no straw. There's nothing lady-like about it. I've even seen people using a spoon (not provided by bar) for these kind of drinks. They say its environmental but this stinks!!! Now I can't leave a review without shout-outs to all the many people that make JOIA GREAT. I'm going to forget some but I'll get most... FRONT DESK...Barrington, Tyresha, Verona, Felicia GUEST SERVICES..Basseine, Romell, Nadika... BUTLERS...Taneil (Mgr), Alain, Christopher, Andre, Rohan, Chang, Devon, Okiene, Kadean provide service with a smile ... MGMT PROVIDE DINING EXCELLENCE...Stephen (Italian); Jerry (Buffet); Dovia, Judy...both recently promoted. They're everywhere. BARS.. Wonderful Trip- Living in Paradise
My husband and I traveled to Montego Bay to attend a wedding (first time in Jamaica). We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall. From the time we arrived, received the friendliest greetings!! The staff, food, ambience, ocean views from our room and service were excellent!!!! We had the privilege of having Mr. Alain and Mr. Andre assist us with their butler services during the trip! They were personable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of at ALL TIMES- we wanted for nothing! Can’t wait to return!

Great experience at Joia
The service was amazing. We were checked on regularly by staff. Our room was kept throughout the day and the food was great. Our butlers Alain and Andre made our experience wonderful. The buffet was my favorite option when i got hungry. Their steakhouse was an excellent option as well. Their hibachi and italian was ok but worth trying.
