Dec 11, 2024Great experience because of the Staff!
Hard Rock Cancun was a great experience for my family. Our butler, Alexis, made sure all expectations were met. He went above and beyond what we needed him to do. He was checking in with us making sure things were up to standard. His communication was excellent. Alexis made my mom’s birthday extra special by sending some decorations to the room. He was so attentive to details. By the pool, we had reserved seats everyday and he confirmed them every morning. I appreciate the communication so much! Although one restaurant was closed, Alexis made sure we had reservations every night for dinner on a rotation schedule. The service by the pool from Nestor & Carlos was also incredible. No wants were left unmet. Angel on the third floor snack bar was also GREAT. Alexis made sure everything ran in a timely fashion, even when we forgot something, he was able to send it to the next resort we went to. He is our go to man there!! We can’t wait to come back!

Dec 10, 2024Worst vacation we've ever taken
Do not go to HR Cancun. We were there the 27th of Nov to the 4th of Dec. Worst vacation we've ever taken. First room had screeching plumbing that woke us at 5:30 am. Claimed they fixed it, same problem next day at 5am. Promised us it was fine, next morning at 6:30 am we awake to a full on shower pouring from the ceiling. We now insisted on being moved. They move us to a "lagoon view" room with a view of the crumbling roof and drive that REEKED of mold. We ask for an ocean view room across the hall (same room layout just with a balcony that faces the ocean) since the first 3 mornings of our vacation were ruined. They claim not to have any available but when I went online I can reserve one no problem. They then tell me I'd have to "upgrade my membership" for the low low cost of $17,000 to move us to another different "level " room. Online the price difference was $9 a night. We were so disgusted that's how they treated us as members. I can't imagine how they would treat a regular guest. We will never return, and wouldn't recommend anyone visit this run down moldy hotel either.

The butlers Alexis and Manuel were awesome at helping us out. They arranged a special anniversary dinner for us that was wonderful. Only downfall was the “legendary meeting”first promised at 20min then we were told would be 50-60 min to get our gift turned into just shy of 80min. The gift was great with couples massage deep tissue but the meeting is a drag.

Hard rock hotel Cancun
Spent the week at the Hard Rock Cancun… great staff! Jessy and Kevoy are all stars… they did a great job for us all week! Willy and Jesus at the pool bars absolutely killed it! Great guys, great job taking care of their guests. Chris and the entire entertainment staff were awesome too! They worked their tails off to ensure a good time was had by all. Awesome ceviche class given by Chef Abraham by the pool. Restaurant staff were all great too. If you go I don’t see how you could be disappointed! Thank you all.. ocean view room was great too!

Vibe and Butlers Rock!
Had a great week at HR Cancun. Service is always great, the food was fabulous and the vibe is always tops for HR experiences. Our butlers Jessy and Kevoy were awesome-both attentive and communicative at all times. Jessy always ensures that our needs are being met and always has a creative solution for any type of opportunity. She is the reason we choose HR Cancun for this trip and again we left with a great experience. All staff at the resort ensure the vibe and experience is top notch, another reason we keep going back.
