Jul 03, 2025Incredible staff, food and beach
The jewel in the crown for this resort is it’s staff. Tevin went out of his way ,as soon as we arrived, to open our padlocked luggage after we’d mislaid the key, he absolutely refused to give up and managed to open the case for us. I realised straight away that the staff were prepared to go above and beyond. Two other stand outs were Enid and Marilia in the Banana Boat restaurant, they were so very kind, welcoming and hospitable, genuinely wonderful women who made us feel so special. Across the board we found everyone to be so nice, Cecil asked us one morning if we’d be visiting the beach that day as he’d be our personal butler, another gentleman took our drinks order at the pool then returned with our drinks, 2 glasses of iced water and 2 portions of the amazing conch fritters from the grill, again going above and beyond to be kind and thoughtful. Michael at the grill prepares amazing food and is a joy to be around. We found the food to be really fantastic at both the banana boat restaurant(buffet) and at the pool grill, delicious bahamian flavours, lots of choice and variety each day, exceptional omelettes prepared to order at breakfast. I’d done loads of research about the resort prior to going so it was no surprise that the facilities are tired but everything is clean, the room was spacious, very comfortable bed, view across the pool and beach and great shower too. I’d say watch youtube videos before booking so you can see the resort and decide if it’s the right fit for you in terms of facilities, decor etc. Rest assured you’ll love the staff, food and beach. As a footnote we’re a same sex male couple and everyone made us feel so very welcomed with none of the micro aggressions we’ve received in other resorts in the Caribbean region so I’d wholeheartedly recommend the resort to LGBTQ travellers.

All inclusive excursion.
The water was the cleanest i have ever seen at a beach. The sands were soft and white with no rocks in them. The staff was nice...I just all around had a nice experience. Plus the air-conditioning was superb...can't forget that great air-conditioning 👍

Would not stay here again. The food was awful, the drinks were weak. We left the resort daily after day one and ventured to the Fish Fry and into town which is were all the magic of the Bahamas takes place. Day one we did sit on the beach and rent a cabana. Our butler for the cabana was so much fun and wished you didn't have to pay so much for them otherwise we would of probably stayed on resort for beach time daily. However, the water was shallow for swimming and there was more seaweed in the water than I care for. My next trip I'd rather stay closer to town.

RELAXING!!!
This place is beautiful!!! Relaxing and clean. Loved having the pools since I am not much of a salt water girl. Restrooms were clean. Food was delicious. Frozen drinks were a must since it was so hot. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Did not want to leave and praying I get to go back again. Thank you to Kenisha, Ahkeem, Jadynn, Cecel and the best bar tender ( don’t know how to spell her name but pictured below).
