Staff was unbelievable, great food across all the restaurants at the resort, and beautiful beach and amenities. Villa was great and i believe they all have their own small private pool

St Lucia Paradise
We have been to this hotel as a couple and also as a family with my children many times!!! It is without doubt one of the best locations in the world. We were here a couple of weeks ago sadly not for enough time as we were only there for a few days we we’re on our way to Florida and we stopped in St Lucia we had a week at secrets which was lovely, and then we had some time here. One of the main reasons for going was to pay our respect to Glenn Sorenson who was a good friend and sadly passed away last year and he was very much loved by everybody at the hotel having been a member of staff there for a number of years. In regards to the hotel, it is paradise The villas are immaculate . Spacious. You will not want to leave!!! We will be back next year, hopefully Thank you again this is a place where you can unwind relax and chill.

Honeymoon at Viceroy
Hands down best resort we have ever been to! The service is fantastic and the whole resort really thinks for you. They pick you up and take you to your dinner. The beach is beautiful. The best burger we have ever had is the Jetty burgers at the beach! Swamee was the best butler as well and made our honeymoon super special but filling our room with wine, chocolate, and flowers.

An Unforgettable Stay in Paradise at Sugar Beach
My stay at Sugar Beach was an incredible experience from start to finish. The location is breathtaking, with beautiful surroundings that make it easy to relax and disconnect. The atmosphere feels peaceful, welcoming, and special—the perfect setting for a memorable getaway. The room was a highlight: comfortable, beautifully appointed, and a pleasure to return to after a day of enjoying the property. The attention to detail throughout the hotel added to the experience, and the team’s warmth and friendly service made me feel welcome. For me, the value lies in the complete experience: the setting, comfort, atmosphere, and hospitality all come together to create something exceptional. Sugar Beach exceeded my expectations, and I would happily return.

Favorite resort ever
My husband and I booked one of the Grand Luxury Villa's at Sugar Beach, Viceroy Resort for our honeymoon in mid October. It was the best experience we could've asked for and my favorite place I've stayed. October is the tail-end of St. Lucia's slow season so it was super quiet and not crowded at all. The setting is unbeatable, right between the Pitons with views every direction you look. Its a 25-40min drive from the airport depending how quickly or smoothly your driver takes you. We had a chauffer that took his job seriously, didn't want the windy roads to mess with us, and it was a smooth trip. The beach is beautiful and the waters seemed much more calm than the more northern beaches, perfect for wading or snorkeling or kayaking. All the amenities are luxurious, even the beach chairs were padded and SO comfy. Eli in charge of renting out the water sports equipment on the beach is very funny, you can tell he loves his job! Most rooms have a private patio and plunge pool. The main pool is fantastic too. I believe every room booked includes services of a team of butlers. They are there for anything you need from calling the shuttle for rides around the resort, room service, booking reservations for on- or off-resort activities, cleaning the room well, nightly turndown service and leaving little surprises like fancy soaps and lotions during the day. Our butlers were Toyan, Shyaam, Bretney, Felicia, and Perlicia and they were truly SO KIND and HELPFUL. We also had the pleasure of meeting Stefi, the head of housekeeping, and she was so personable and sweet. Food: the daily breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and great quality and such a variety. (If you book with some Chase or AMEX cards, the breakfast is complementary, otherwise I think it's $50 per person per day). They also have an ala carte menu you can order from as well. Ivana and the entire Terrace Team was delightful. Very attentive, cheerful, and went the extra mile for us. Every restaurant was delicious! We especially love the Jetty Burgers. Dinner portions are on the bigger size so if you aren't a big eater, I'd recommend ordering plates to share and ordering more if you're still hungry. You MUST do the Rum and Chocolate tasting if you drink at all, and especially if you're a bourbon drinker like us. The rum in the Caribbean is so tasty and nothing at all like the Bacardi and Captain Morgan that Americans are accustomed to. Kentus was in charge of our tasting and he was very knowledgeable. The bartenders at the bars and the beach were there as much as you need, they were helpful with drink suggestions and helped make our experience great. Special shoutout to Kendal and Ames, thank you guys! The resort is not huge but it does spread across some hills. The drivers are available night and day to take you from your room to down to the beach, pool, restaurant areas. Note, it seems expected to tip the drivers each time, and the rides are just a couple of minutes. Once we got the lay of the land, we preferred to walk most of the time. Some of the hills are quite steep and had us out of breath, so if you don't love inclines, I would be prepared to take the shuttles down and up. I could go on and on about this place. But I'll try to wrap it up. If Sugar Beach is in your budget, I would highly highly recommend booking yourself a trip here if the following is important to you: quiet atmosphere, friendly people, high quality food and bev, fun and professional staff, unique views and excursions, an easy drive from the airport, comfy rooms and amenities, good breakfast, and nice fitness center. There is an all-inclusive option to add to your stay, just read through it all the way and see if it would make sense for your party. There are mulitple types of rooms available as well so read through them all, see where they are on the resort map, and choose one that works best! We definitely plan on returning to Sugar Beach for future celebrations, I cannot express what a joy it was to stay here!
