poor service
could have been a great resort.staff seems untrained.the atm was out of service all week!!! that is so unacceptable i had no cash too spend at the embera indian village i was so embarrassed.the tour guides are really good the tours are very good we loved the puru village that was a very good tour highly recommended they are very good people.tram tour was good even know we didn't see anything.be aware of a fake taxi driver at the airport!!!!! he is not a taxi driver he's a con man that shakes you down takes all your money or he takes off with our luggage.he got me for $200.00.he drives a white car tring to blend in with other cars do not get into a white car only use yellow cabs!!!a special thanks to amir the bellhop he was a very big help to us, he was fantastic he drove us to town so we could get some money if it was not for him our trip would have been a one big disaster.
First, the check in person made a mistake in upgrading us to all-inclusive, changed our room number last minute and gave us the wrong room cards. The main hotel lobby was muggy and hot. The A/C was so loud in the room that it was hard to fall asleep at night. The curtains were thin fabric that the sun was blinding at 6am. The smell of mold in the room was repulsive. The tours are mainly one hour long and over $50 per person. The main restaurant that is overpriced with poor food quality and taste.
The hotel's location was great though, away from the city, in the national park but I don't recomment this hotel or its services to anyone.
We stayed 6 nights. October 7-13. Beginning of rainy season
!st - The service was pretty good - but the place was dead. At dinner there was no more than 3 couples total. There are two restaurants in th emain building. We did the all inclusive (which is buffet only unless there are only a few people staying).
We did not get rain the 1st two days and some afternoon showers in the afternoon. Only one day did it rain for a long period of time. The pool closed around 6 - because the mosquitos would carry you off once the sun goes down.
Not a big night life. One bar - and since the place was quiet when we stayed - we were alone there at times.
Very quiet - clean and my wife (who is extra picky) gives it 4 stars out of 5. Rooms are fairly nice. Try for a higher up room to view the Canal.
We did a few excursions - thanks to Roberto at the excursion desk. Price are the same on the internet and waht you can get at the hotel. Just book when you get there. $52 round trip per person from the airport.
Food quality was above average to good. We only got hit with the buffet a couple of times do to low attendance.
Languate. Some staff speak a very limited English. That is to be expected I guess .
I really enjoyed it. Wish I had stayed 3 nights in the city and 3 here - very relaxing and nice - but zero going on at night.
Beautiful Location, front staff and travel staff are 5 star, the free trips are well lead and interesting, tram and monkey island are great cost is in line with experence. But house keeping needs a lot of work. Towel and daily housekeeping spotty. We had to call desk almost daily. If you stay in a Jr. suite, and I recomend this. Make sure the connecting room stays empty, walls very thin and just talking is overheard. View is great. Food is a solid 3 star. Breakfast buffet is above average, lunch is great at the River resturant. One problem is that the resort is so far from anything else that 4 days is Ok more you can run out of things to do. Canal trip is about 20 minutes away. Pool a solid 5 star, grounds also

are the flight and hotel included with the total price for the four night stay at Gamboa Rainforest Resort Panama1 answer

Memphis, Tn
If you book a package, which includes flights and the all inclusive resort, the price would reflect however many days you choose. To get an accurate pricing you do need to select your dates of travel -and keep in mind that you are generally able to add days to that package if you wanted to book a longer vacation- select the number af travelers and the airport you will be departing from. The pricing reflected on the website is based on specific dates, departing from MIA or FLL. The airfare fluctuates, thereby changing your pricing, depending on when and you travel and where you depart from.

As this resort is located in the rainforest, while there are many nature parks, hiking areas, etc around the resort, there is not a lot of nightlife surrounding the property.

groove to live music or relax to the nighttime sounds of the rainforest on the
terrace at the Monkey Lobby Bar.
In order for guests to take full advantage of the area's unique eco-system,
the resort has educational exhibits along pathways and trails. Let wonder guide
you through the freshwater fish aquarium, reptile exhibit and historical and

Adventuring can be tiring; luckily the resort's Sensory Spa by Clarins has
the secret to winding down after a long day with natural herbs and minerals. We
loved the quiet herbal wrap. When it's time to call it a day, the Standard
