    Good but needs improvements

    Stayed here from 9/27-9/30/25. We stayed here before several years ago. Loved it then. This time around looks like the resort can use upgrades. Food was & services were still great. Not all restaurants open at night. But the buffet was really good. We are beach dwellers. The beach at resort suffers from erosion. Plus the brown seaweed kept us and others out the water. We didn't even relax on beach cause of the smell & flies from the decomposition of the seaweed. So we became pool dwellers & had good time in pool. Some drinks were good, some were not. Depends on what u get & who makes it. Mosquitoes were out in force. Got bit over 10 times. And we sprayed a lot. Resort states its the season. True, but I don't think they sprayed for mosquitoes enough. Rooms are nice but need to be refurbished a little. Lots of lizards walking around as well as animals looking for food. Don't leave food in your bag or around your belongings by the pool. They search for it. Overall relaxing. Just wish the mosquitoes & algae were taking care of

    We had soooo much fun in Mexico with this Dj!! Highly recommend!!! Had us on our feet all night !!! He took requests and still and the dance floor jumping! Book him!!!!

    We had a pleasure stay the hotel!!! it’s beautiful, clean, food it’s great but overall the welcoming of all hard working people in the restaurants, lobby, room cleaning and specially Javier reyes the bell boy who always went the extra mile to help always with a smile. We will definitely comeback to platinum Yucatan princess.!!!

    Will we come back??

    Overall experience was okay. The most enjoyable part of our trip was the way we were treated by the bell boys Javier Reyes and Enrique Munoz. Overnight bartender Jacinto was excellent at making drinks and making sure our time was great! Front desk staff and management were terrible. Our group complained many times and the response of “we don’t care” was told to us every time. We also saw many other people complain about the same issues also to be told by the front desk staff “they don’t care” This is not our first time here and we always have a group of 30 or more and to be treated so poorly during our vacation was terrible. The people in our group that needed two beds in their rooms were given one bed and a pull out couch. After asking for a room with two beds, front desk staff told my family they would not be able to move them rooms. No one wants to spend their vacation sleeping on a paper thin pull out mattress.
