"Turtle Beach Resort was fabulous! They were very attentive to our needs. For the most part, they had good vegetarian options on their menu and at the buffet. Great pool and water sports staff." – Kathryn

Turtle Beach
Just got back from Barbados and I must say it was fabulous! I can't say enough about the Turtle Beach Resort. the grounds were lovely, the service was absolutely terrific and the weather was perfect! The staff at the resort couldn't do enough to make our stay great. Our room was large and pleasant to the eye. the food at the three restaurants was very good for an all inclusive. the grounds of the resort was well kept and everything was close enough to get to. when we decide to go back to Barbados, we definitely will return to theTurtle Beach Resort.
This was our third visit to this Hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food and service were excellent, with several dining room options. Service and staff were attentive and excellent.
This is a family Hotel and during this visit that were significantly more younger children. At times getting into the pools was difficult due to all of the flotation devices.
The Hotel entertainment was a real bonus. We would have no hesitation in returning to this excellent facility.
I recently got married at Turtle beach. I was worried about the details, because up to the point of our departure, we had nothing planned. They reassured us not to worry, and low and behold they were right. Everything was perfect!! From the airport, to the hotel, to the excursions, everybody was so friendly. The food and drinks were superb, they should just be in bigger glasses. Niguel and Andrew were awesome! I'm planning on going back for our 1 year anniversary!
We enjoyed the resort very much. 20 minutes from the airport. It was our first time to Barbados and we loved it. People of the island are so nice and educated. Had read some negative reviews of the Resort but it was not our experience. Food was good at the buffet but excellent at the ala Carte dinning. The nightly entertainment was lame. The service was fantastic. Drinks were easy and never more than a minute in line. Great pools and beach. On the beach, be fore warned that people will walk up and try to sell you things that you may not want, jewelry, leather goods or island tours. You just have to say you’re not interested and they will leave you alone. There was no sense of pretentiousness and the other guests were mainly middle aged British. Would recommend the swim with the sea turtles. It was a very relaxing place and we would highly recommend it.

Hotel Description
A Premium Barbados Hotel with Ocean Wildlife on the Side
The stretch of Barbados' South Coast that is home to Turtle Beach Resort isn't called "Turtle Beach" for nothin'. It's actually a sea-turtle nesting ground from April through November, and lucky December visitors just might catch a glimpse of a hatchling as it scrambles toward the sea.
The wildlife, though, is only the first draw of Turtle Beach Resort in Barbados. All inclusive packages feature the hotel's three restaurants, two freshwater swimming pools and a boat-load of water sports. Try your hand at windsurfing, or watch for tropical fish from a kayak or canoe. When you are ready to explore the surrounding town of Dover, make the three-minute walk to St. Lawrence Gap, or "The Gap" as locals like to call it, a hub of shops and vibrant nightlife.
An island vibe in a natural setting awaits you at Turtle Beach Resort. Barbados' South Coast beach seems laid out just for your viewing pleasure from the private balcony of your artfully decorated room. When you arrive at the hotel, the open-air lobby welcomes you with fresh ocean breezes and a laid-back atmosphere. Each of the rooms is a suite, providing you with all the creature comforts of home. But you're not at home, you're on a Caribbean vacation, complete with beach-concierge service bringing you fresh fruit and afternoon tea. And when it's time for dinner, sample fine dining at Asiagos, the highest-rated Italian restaurant in all of Barbados, according to Zagat.com.
Bringing a handful of kids along? Turtle Beach Resort's Flying Fish Kids' Club is the perfect place for them to hang out and play beach cricket, table tennis and Nintendo Wii. Even "too-cool-for-school" teenagers like the foosball setup and pool table. And with the crackle of Caribbean energy in the air, those who join in the Kids' Club's educational and cultural activities will be too absorbed by their island surroundings to even realize they are learning. Meanwhile, it's playtime for the grownups as they relax in the whirlpool or embark on a rum distillery tour.
