We enjoyed our first trip to Cancun. Rooms were great and the staff service was way beyond compare. They tried extra hard to see that we had everything we wanted and needed. They even brought up Birthday cake and champagne on my birthday. We ate twice at the Itallian resturant. It was excellent. The young man named Roberto was wonderful. He made our dining experience exceptional. He even helped to pick the right meal and wine. He also had the wine that is my over-alll favorite. I had not drunk any since I was in Italy.
We loved the whole trip and will come again.
We had a Great time at the Sun Palace. I enjoyed every second of it. I'm so glad we choose the Sun Palace after all our research. no children was a bonus and they catered to anything that we needed. such a great week... the only thing i would change if i could would be the pool. i loved it but it was bit chilly. so if it was heated i would've spent lots more time there. but over all... Best honeymoon ever. thanks Sun Palace and thank you cheapcaribbean.com made everything go so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything. including transportation. was AWESOME!
Absolutely perfect vacation!
My boyfriend and I spent 6 nights at Sun Palace, first time in Cancun, first time doing the "all-inclusive" thing. We went in with low expectations, because we have always been told (and unfortunately, sometimes experienced) 'nothing is as good as it seems'.
Boy oh boy were we surprised!!!! Everything was perfect. From the moment we walked through the door, greeted with cool towels, a flower for me, and drinks, to the moment we (very sadly) had to leave, we were treated like royalty and had the time of our lives. Excellent food and drinks with plenty to choose from each and every day. It certainly never got old, there was always something new to try. Stunning view from the room, with amazing amenities (particularly the jacuzzi for 2 and the liquor dispenser and fully-stocked fridge!), even the nighttime entertainment was surprisingly good, considering what we were paying. A couple nights we even helped release baby sea turtles into the ocean as part of the Palace Resort's conservation efforts. Additionally, we lucked out one night and saw a mother sea turtle laying eggs on the beach, and got to go down and experience a truly unique and astounding part of nature.
We used our resort credits and upgraded the room to concierge level (highly recommend! You get a dinner on the beach, 25 minute massages each, champagne and fruit in the room, a nicer room in general, better beach lounge chairs, etc etc etc), took a tour to Chichen Itza (very hot but absolutely worth it), received a 80 minute massage for him and a 50 minute facial for me, and even upgraded our wine one night at dinner.
Truly, there are not enough good things I can say about this place. We cannot wait to go back, we have already been looking through the calendar trying to see when we can budget it in again! Worth every penny. Exemplary service, big shoutouts to Norberto, Carlos, Karina, and David. They made our trip that much more amazing. Go go go go! You won't regret it :-)

A Very Relaxing Vacation
This trip was planned for a relaxing 40th birthday and it didn't let us down. We loved that it was an adult only resort. The Spa was wonderful, all our meals were great, and the service was very hospitable. We enjoyed everything that Sun Palace offered us.

We just returned from the Aventura Spa Palace. If memory serves me at Sun Palace you can use up to about $400 to $500 in each category with the categories being: the spa, tours including swimming with the dolphins which I highly recommend, wines or special dinners, special edition Jose Cuervo Tequillas, golf, room/service upgrades.
At Aventura Spa Palace we could use the entire credit in the spa, but that was not available at other properties. Look on their website to see the fine details.
Cruisers
The credit can be used towards a variety of things including but not limited to: room upgrades, tours, spa services, wine upgrades, private dinner on the beach, transportation to and from the airport (or so I heard), etc.... You can really personalize it to your tastes. :-)

-we used out $1500 in credits towrads couples massage up to $300 i think only paid $40 after
-used it for pictures. and they turned out so nice. i will cherish them forever
-used for swim with the Dolphins and Wet and wild park. that was so much fun.
- and finished our credits up with room upgrade.. Sun palace was great when it came to this. they let us go upstairs and look at basic room and we could decided if we wanted to upgrade and I can say it was worth the upgrade to ocean view instead of resort view. waking up in the morning and seeing that view was well worth it

CONCIERGE LEVEL ROOMS: include everything from the all inclusive package plus ocean front room with a king bed, one (1) 25 minute back massages (per adult, per week with 14 night minimum stay), private check-in / check-out , late check-out / Early check-in (subject to availability), exclusive concierge phone service, upgraded brand of liquors in room dispensers, guaranteed nightly turn down service, nightly petit-fours, espresso machine, DVD/CD player, iPod dock, pillow menu, aromatherapy, L'Occitane En Provence body care products.
GOLF / SPA PACKAGE ROOMS: include one round of golf OR one select spa treatment per adult/per night. Golf/Spa package is interchangeable and can be used in any combination once per day (number of green fees and select spa treatments are based on number of nights booked). Rounds of golf include transportation to and from the golf courses, beverages, snacks, and shared cart.
Available spa treatments included in this golf/spa package are: Aroma Reflexology (50 min), Sport Massage (50 min), Zen Shiatsu (50 min), Invigorating Leg and Foot Massage (25 min) plus Refresher Facial (25 min), Face, Head, and Shoulder Accupressure (25 min) plus Refresher Facial (25 min), and Body Scrub (25 min) plus Manicure or Pedicure (25 min).

The new renovations have made this property a great haven in Cancun for couples only. Truly a place to relax and enjoy the chic surroundings. A nice array of restaurants and bars complete the experience.
