Really enjoyed myself at the white sand, great great environment!!
The resort is very upscale and the staff was very pleasant and courteous.
Every staff member do their best to make your stay comfortable. I would definatly recommend the jerk hut on the beach to everyone it is so so much delicious.The buffet meals had a good variety to choose from daily/.
Very clean hotel. Diamond Club check in was smooth. Rooms were small similar to a cruise ship. We had 2 connecting rooms for 6 people and we were a bit on top of reach other. Transfers with Amstar were on time and smooth. Diamond Club Butlers were non existent. The different restaurant booking options and beach were great with Diamond Club. Cabana's are a MUST rent at the Blue Waters. The cabana staff is what really made our trip. Avoid the Tex Mex dinner. Poor service and even poorer food. Zen was great. Overall I would recommend this property.
The view is amazing, the pools are nice. They talk about "Jamaican time" but it's way too slow. They bartenders and servers straight up ignore you. The beach seemed dirty, and the room with a "pool or garden view" means a view of the employee road and gas tanks in the back. The portions are ridiculously small. If you want room service, make sure you call it in 2 hours before you might be hungry because that's about how long it takes. For what we paid, I would expect more. We went with a big group, the kids loved the day camp. When you check in, you find out that your travel agent gave you a credit, a credit that can not be redeemed as cash, and the options all include spending more money to get the discount. It's a joke and a rip off. I would go back to Jamaica, but I'd find another hotel.

Trip advisor reviews on the royalton are some of the worst ever seen... I'm worried that this resort does not live up to your standards of recommendations.
Apparently the resort was not yet open when you posted your review... Their 'soft' opening appears to have been quite problematic... And it seems like you might want to better inform your clients about it...

only at Hunter Steak house and Zen. As soon as you ckeck in and get your room number go and make reservations at each for two dinners so you can get your best time. We had no problems at all. Also, the other resturants, Buffet and Italian were amazing and no wait for seats!

Good question! I was wondering THAT too B4 I went... My boyfriend & I just went in April (Alone! Without our kids) & it was GOOD! There were a handful of kids there.. Not A LOT... & they weren't screaming, fussing, running around or any bother to us at all! Our vacay was totally enjoyable & relaxing!! The small amount of kids that were there didn't effect our stay. It was an Amazing vacay & resort!

Hi. If u book through Cheap Carribean the option for ur shuttle/transportation will pop up towards the end. You can just book the group shuttle which is about $33.00 Round trip per person. It's easy & inexpensive. When you arrive at the airport it is very organized & they take good care of you.

I seen places for parking, but it look like it was for the workers. It's probably cheaper to pay for a cab or have one of the bus companies to take you around, plus if you are from the states, I recommend not renting a car because they drive on the opposite side of the street and they drive pretty fast and a little crazy. I can't recall any travelers renting cars.

When booking through CheapCaribbean.com you have the option of booking two swim out suites. The first is the Luxury Ocean Swim Out Suite and the second is the Honeymoon Jacuzzi Swim Out Suite. Both of these option have a private pool located just outside your room.

No, tips are not already included, but you don't need to tip as much as you would in the U.S. No, there are no hidden fees. Just if you want to take a tour that is outside the resort, or if you want to go snorkeling or scuba diving, that costs extra. Also, there is "house white and red wine", but other bottles of wine cost extra. Also there is "premium alcohol" that costs extra, but there is definitely a variety of alcohol, and plenty of it, that is included in the price.

Looked nice, I did see the private pool and you also have a private beach area away from the other beach chairs. When we got there we asked for that suitet and I think we bargained them down to 88.00 a night upgrade but we just went with standard room,#2104 ocean front for an extra 50.00 a night and was very happy with the sunset views. when you check in ask that someone drives you via golfcart to your room, tip 2.00 and they are happy.
