If you've always wanted to dive but never had the time or opportunity, your dream can become reality at the all inclusive Riu Caribe Cancun has a pool devoted to scuba training, as well as its own dive center, Scubacaribe. Once you're trained, making your way to the coral reefs is easy; just book a Scubacaribe excursion.

Steakhouse was good. Asian was not except for the fried ice cream. Main dining room was very clean and the food was good. Towels were on the pool chairs by 7am every morning. The flea market was very interesting downtown. Bus ride was only $1. each way. Went to WALMART.... now your exchange info because everything was in Spanish.Took the Isle Mujeres snorkeling tour that was a lot of fun. All the workers at the Riu were very friendly and helpful. The RIU was very clean. There was a small event two nights (sellers.. etc..) watch the guys paint beautiful pictures. They are beautiful. Met a lolt of nice people.

an Ok vacation
The Riu was ok. The hotel was nothing to right home about but it was clean. The beaches were awesome! the Food marginal at best. It was the same thing over and over and the al a carte resturants were not great at all. Just stick to the mundane buffet. They have a problem with keeping everything hot. The people were not all that nice either. If you want to use the business center they charge you for every page you print even if its something they want from you and the computer guy if you could call him that is the most unfriendly, unhelpful person on the perhaps the planet. I wouldnt go back unless it was dirt cheap. I would go to the same place with a nicer staff.
The beach was wonderful but the resort was for very much younger peo[ple. It was a real party place for the young. In the afternoon and evening the younger crowd were very drunk but no one was ever out of line just good old fun. Any younger person would love the activity and things they offer.. as for us older people it worked because we had the beach in the morning and early afternoon then went to do something or take a nap. We did have a lot of fun. Thanks
First vacation in 30 years of marriage including no honeymoon. This was a great trip. Would have liked more sun, no rain and less wind. But those things are out our control. Beautiful place to stay Riu Caribue, Cancun.

500 deluxe ocean view rooms and ocean front junior suites, all with balcony or terrace. Elegant guest accommodations combine comfort, amenities and convenience. Once you've maxed out on the serene beauty of the deep, you'll need a place to chill. There's no better place to take it easy than the lounge chairs at the main pool. This monster pool stretches 125 yards--longer than a football field! And when you want to wet your whistle, poolside and swim-up bars put that cold hurricane or margarita within easy reach.
If you're up for some action, head out to the 300-yard sparkling, white beach, where you'll find everything from banana boats to catamarans. And if you want to gain a little altitude, how about a parasail? Hang on tight to the tow line, cause you'll be cruising high above the turquoise waters with a great view of Cancun.
After you've descended from an orange-streaked sky of late afternoon, you might hear a familiar vacation-specific roaring. It's your empty tummy, and you know just where to go--Maria Margarita. An incredibly tender grilled top sirloin ought to do the trick, especially if it's followed by the pomp and show of baked Alaska flambee. Spring Break
No student groups under 21 or "Spring Breakers" accepted at this resort year round. If travel is booked and no one fulfills this requirement, you will be denied check-in at this resort.
