Take a hard pass
Swipe right on this hotel. Outdated and rundown. Not all restaurants are open. The staff is more interested talking amongst themselves and looking at their phones, before addressing and servicing the guests. The rooms are musty and have mismatched paint and definitely need an overall renovation. Grounds are cleaner than the interior. The food is unremarkable. The best thing is the rainfall shower and super charged blow dryer.

Beautiful Resort, Amazing Staff—but BEWARE of High-Pressure Club Iberostar Pitch
We recently returned from the Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites in Jamaica, and overall, it was a fantastic vacation. I'm going to give some quick highlights: 1 - OVERALL The resort is beautifully maintained—from the comfortable rooms and clean pools to the lovely beach and a great variety of delicious dining options. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and brought that genuine Jamaican hospitality. Yea mon’! 2 - LAZY RIVER We were really looking forward to relaxing in the lazy river… but it turned out to be a little too lazy—LOL. Unfortunately, only one section had working jets, so instead of a smooth, continuous float, we ended up stuck in spots or drifting back and forth. In most areas, we had to get up and walk ourselves along just to reach the part that actually worked. Definitely a letdown. 3 - CLUB IBEROSTAR PRESENTATION (w/Concierge: Tanieka) I mimic what SO many other reviewers have said - AVOID at all costs. We were persuaded to attend what was described as a “quick, no-pressure presentation” in exchange for a small gift ($100 resort credit). What we actually walked into was a lengthy, high-pressure Club Iberostar sales pitch that dragged on far longer than promised. We explained multiple times that we weren’t in a financial position to commit and simply needed time to think things through—especially since it was our last day on the island and we wanted to enjoy what little time we had left. Still, the reps continued to push, ignoring our concerns and boundaries entirely. It felt less like an informative session and more like being cornered. Unless you have $90,000 just lying around and enjoy being pressured into big financial decisions on your vacation, do yourself a favor and skip this entirely. It's a disappointing blemish on what was otherwise a nice trip. To make matters worse, Tanieka, the concierge who initially invited us, had promised us a gift from the gift shop (sunscreen) as a token of congratulations for our engagement and simply for attending the session. However, when we went to claim it at checkout, we were told it was a "miscommunication." Frankly, that felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, using goodwill and false promises just to get us into the sales funnel. That’s not just disappointing—it’s unfair and not what you expect from a resort of this caliber. I had to speak with her supervisor, Ezekiel, who took over 25 minutes to find a solution. That said, we don’t want this one issue to overshadow what was otherwise a beautiful and memorable trip. We’d absolutely recommend Iberostar for the quality of the resort itself—but with a very clear warning: decline ANY invitation to a Club Iberostar presentation unless you're fully prepared for a high-pressure sales experience and some broken promises.

My Special Trip To Iberostar Rose Hall
My experience at Iberostar was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and accommodative. Special shout outs to Mathew from front desk who was rather pleasant and went above and beyond for us. I had a great time dancing with the entertainment crew, who did an awesome job. I felt right at home. The food was quite good as well.

Great resort, great location, great beach
This resort is great, food is amazing, no resos for restaurants, and really no dress code....which is a bonus when you're in a hot country and don't want to wear pants. Beach was always raked clean daily, very wide and lots of space. Food truck on the beach was so amazing, we ate here daily..... most rooms seemed to face the ocean, which is a plus, resort is big on sustainability, water was always available through the filtered taps located throughout the resort, the ice machine wasn't working, but really wasn't a huge deal. I did find not having straws a nuisance for slushy drinks, please bring your own if this is an issue for you. Go off the resort!!! The people and food are meant to be experienced, the pork pit is sooooooo good!!! Best jerk pork and chicken I've had. Free main street shuttle runs hourly, takes u to a nice shopping strip about 10 mins away, scotchies is also there, not as good as pork pit but it's good. Overall this resort was great, clean and staff super friendly and attentive. They work hard so please tip!!! Love jamaica!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Be careful when booking / avoid the "club" (timeshare) exclusive breakfast
TLDR: Ensure you have your exact original credit card with you at check in or they will make you rebook at the rack rate. Avoid any incentives to stop for a "quick" presentation. Food was OK for all inclusive - lots of good options at the buffet. Beach and pool beautiful. We booked and fully paid in January 2025 direct with Iberostar and took advantage of some discount deals they had. When we got to check in, the manager refused to honor the booking we had, as the credit card we booked on was not the same number as the card I had with me (same Amex account, just a replacement card which had a new number). She pointed to a note on the booking confirmation "This credit card and your passport must be presented at the hotel in order to check in". I explained that the card we booked and paid with months before had been replaced, but she kept saying it is Iberostar policy that you must have the same exact card number or the booking was invalid (same issue would obviously happen if lost / stolen / using a virtual card number for online payments but she had no answer for that). The only option given by the manager was to pay the rack rate at the time of check in, which was almost double what we had already paid. My wife was in tears, the kids were upset, and all the manager could do was smile sweetly and keep pointing me to the note on the booking confirmation. I went back through the booking process on their website and showed her that at no point prior to confirming payment was the requirement to have the exact card number noted (even in the small print). It made no difference, she explained she was the manager and no one was more senior to her to sort this out or make a decision. We ended up having to pay again on the spot and await a refund from Iberostar for the original booking. It started the vacation off terribly. The actual resort staff were great once we were in. Our concierge asked us to attend an exclusive breakfast for a gift shop credit, saying it would be brief and we could leave whenever. It turned out to be a full on timeshare presentation. Once we realised that and asked them to get to the point, just email me the info so we could review and get back to the vacation, they said we had to stay for 90 minutes - after 90 minutes there was still no sign of anything more than small talk and inquiries about how much we spend on vacations, so we firmly said thanks, but no thanks and walked out. Unless you want to spend hours getting grilled I would avoid any presentations about VIP clubs etc!
