Iberostar's!
For my top comments and to echo others, the staff are incredible. They are super attentive, I found all of the staff friendly and nothing was a problem. This made our family holiday so memorable and relaxing. You can see they work super hard and hands down excellent. Thank you to everyone involved. The property is always being maintained. We stayed in a two bed room, for two adults and two children. There were larger rooms available which we were offered at a much lower price on the day compared to booking in advance, but we didn't accept as we were on a max budget. However, we were happy with the beds and had no issues. Slightly smaler beds then a prior hotel, so if youre doing the same, check sizes for your own comfort needs. Rooms were clean and the minibar was alwsys stocked up! The bathroom was clean and large as was the bedroom. I agree some have said not modern looking, but dont be concerned, as it was all fine. The gounds are perfect. The main pool is busy and the swim up bar is lively, but hey youre in holiday, so get involved. Ive you need a quieter area, there are lots of quieter pool side places to take the sun in all day. The buffet can be a little touch and go. I found a lot of the meat a tad chewy, but hey, the buffet has lots of varied tastes for all, and that is just what the hotel caters for. No one has the same taste. Find your go to flavor and enjoy as there are some delicious foods, salads, deserts etc. At Lindo, you can visit the Del mar/ Beaches. We enjoyed the other resort buffet for dinner and breakfast for a change of scenary. The app shows the buggy in realtime moving about, so they are easy to catch. 10 mins or so between each one and its fun to get to next door property. The restaurants a pretty good. I loved some and others meh. But, try them all, and enjoy. Overall, the hotel was amazing, and we had a super fun family holiday. Its very easy to find negatives in everything I believe. I guess for me, i loved times on the water slides, I ate far too much food, loved the cocktails and again the staff were incredible. Have an amazing holiday at Lindo. We did and would 100% return. Relax, enjoy, find your holiday walk and make sure you have a mimosa with your first breakfast. Yes the sales staff do try to upsell, but remember its a business so let that go, and for the tour sellers on the beach, tell them youre going home tomorow. Enjoy! Our experience was not to bother with room service. Its reasonable and warm at best. But, why spend time in the room when there is a world out there. Room service at Dreams & other similar hotels are similar i found. So, at this price point generally, its a great hotel. I could go on, but as I said to myself, youll spend a day or so removing your daily stresses, find your grove and realise your holiday spirit. The staff will certainly help you along that path. Happy holidays!

Love this place, the food and all the staff - can't wait to come back !!!
This was our 5th or 6th time to Iberostar Lindo as a family and we just love it. All the staff are so professional and friendly, especially the restaurant and bar staff. The checkin was good. The renovated rooms are nice. The food is excellent and a reason we keep coming back. As a Club member, a shout out for Angel at the beach and the best bartender in the world, Santiago. Also, a big shout out for Isabel running Yoga at 9am - it is excellent and thank you. I love the Spa, crepes, the tacoria, the shows, and restaurants. It has been nice to come year after year as our kids grow up - when they were young - they used the wave pool, now we still use the lazy river and the water slides, and the kids play beach volleyball. Keep up the progress and renovations - they are noticed. One small point that could be better is the booking of the restaurants - I preferred when club members could do it before hand - as others have written, it is getting harder and harder to get restaurant reservations. Also, the nightclub needs renovation. Can't wait until we come next year. Thank you for everything.

Solid!
Solid hotel, with decent food, good sized rooms and bathrooms, great pools and a very nice beach. We ate mostly at the Lindo buffet, and there was always lots to choose from, though one morning we didn’t get to breakfast until 9, and it was pretty slim pickings. Very good food safety at Lindo; cannot say the same for Maya buffet. We went there for lunch one day, and stuff like lettuce, salad vegetables, cheeses, guacamole that should have been kept cold were not. Great customer service through the Iberostar app; everything we asked for was attended to very quickly. Staff are good; Star Friend Yoshone (sp?) was a stand out, always had a friendly smile and actually went to get us towels from the pool for the beach, which was awesome of her. Benito the bartender at the Sports Bar was excellent as well, though we felt very badly for him the night of the ALCS final, as he was trying to push out drinks for a bar full of thirsty Blue Jays fans. That is something that could have been better planned by management, as one bartender and one server just couldn’t keep up, and some folks were getting cheesed off with the wait for a drink. Rooms are older, and ours (5163) was kept spotless by the housekeeper. The couch though was horribly stained, but one message through the app and it was totally taken care of, so a good outcome to an issue. Main pool was fun and huge with a very cool grotto swim up bar, and the quiet pool was lovely as well. Didn’t make it to any shows as we are done with the day before 9 pm. Mini bar was perfectly adequate, though it would be very good to be able to get a bottle of wine for the room. Overall, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful vacation time.
Enjoyed everything about this place. It's beautiful and welcoming in all the areas, from the entrance to the beach and the pools, gardens, etc. The food at the buffet Pagoda is the best, mainly for the staff that makes it a better experience. I have to give the praises to Ximena for her excellent customer service and to all her staff that attends the visitors. Truly thankful for all of you that makes our vacation, the best experience.

Solid choice, really good overall
I spent 7 nights here with my 6 and 9 year olds and the whole family had a great time. The resort is huge and beautiful, we really loved all of the animals. At times the animals loved us too, my 6 year old got jumped on two separate occasions by a coati on the beach, who stole his ice cream, so watch out for that. We loved our room, the pools were gorgeous, and the beach was very nice (they constantly try to clear the seaweed). Food was overall good, we really loved the Mexican restaurant and the buffet theme nights were really fun. The seafood restaurant was awful though. The room service menu was small, and we got raw hamburgers one day. Drinks were pretty good, but they definitely need more bartenders and serving staff, they were working so hard but there just weren’t enough of them. The taco shop in the mall was really delicious, it’s worth the walk over there. We had a really good time and would definitely return.
