Nice Resort

Let me start by saying we had a great time. Obviously you get what you pay for. Beach was beautiful, staff was friendly, rooms were clean. The dinning options were just OK, but we didn't go to Jamaica for gourmet meals. There was a lot of variety in the buffets, we were greeted every morning with a mimosa. The pool looked gorgeous, but again, we didn't go for the pools. There didn't seem to be a lot of options for night life, but we had fun with what was offered. We would go back!

Good for the price

We didn't go into the trip with high expectations. Resort was nice, food was mediocre. There were definitely cats, but they weren't bad, and I assume they are used for pest control. It was hard to get dining reservations and when we did we were eating dinner at 10:00 at night. Beach was nice, drinks were plentiful, overall, we had a great time!

new years

This was the worst ever, on new years night party it rain and they didn't have a tarp up, my bigger complain is they try to sell you and VIP membership which cost about 25 grand, they have one side of the resort for these people they had their new year inside didn't suffer the rain also on the weekend had a night club which we couldn't go in only member 3 quarter of the resort was members only. I have been in punta cana, cacun and I have never see something like that, I mean you pay all this money to enjoy the resort but you actually don't, I don't think is fair to the middle class people we save up for a vacation to enjoy the whole resort no just a quarter of it ..was actually stop by a security guard at night and told me can't walk that way it's member only.. so if you are not going to purchase a 25 grand membership with them it is not for you...they even charge for your room safe WTF, you don't get WIFI only if you are on the lobby for member it's free but for you it's 19.99 for 24hours if you want WIFI in your room..If you want to be single out and had a bad vacation this is where you go ..I don't recommend you go there.. just terrible..

What's to Love

It's an all-inclusive beach bonanza for every member of your fam-bam.

The white, cabana-ish tents that hug the pool and provide shade while you chillax.

Being greeted by colorful, fresh bougainvillea on your massage table in the spa.

The two coolio, curvy pools that are a coconut's throw from the beach.

What We'd Change

The beach is a little pebbly, so make sure you bring your water shoes. The upside is that it makes for truly excellent snorkeling right off shore.

Why You Should Go

It's 75 minutes from Mobay airport. Don't fret. You'll be greeted with a welcome cocktail soon.

The beach is a bit pebbly, so bring your water shoes.

Before your flight home, hit Club Mobay at the airport for A/C, drinks and lots of spoiling.

Book your airport transfers with us before you arrive. You'll avoid a lot of headaches.

Hotel Description

Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica: All-Inclusive & All-Fam-tastic

When you enter the open-air lobby of this Victorian-style resort, you'll immediately feel the Jamaican breezes wash over you. Next, you'll encounter a sea of white, wicker chairs on the expansive porch (they're oh-so British), where you can sip a cocktail and soak in all the awesome of the lush grounds. Wander through the complex and you'll be wowed by the glistening pools and the cerulean waves of Runaway Bay. Grab a Red Stripe from the swim-up bar while your kids can descend into a splash frenzy at their own pool. Then you can all gather for some Jerk Chicken at the snack bar, where you can plot your next adventures: water sports, nightly shows, and more. When might we expect you?
