    Dinner at Momo

Efrain was very friendly and professional as a server for us at Momo. He was willing to answer questions and was very accommodating to our requests. We look forward to having another meal at Momo.

The perfect place to do as much or as little as you want

We just finished a lovely 9-night stay at the CP. It was our second stay, but the first was about 15 years ago. The hotel was renovated in the last 18 months and the designers did a lovely job. As before we appreciated our large room with the double jacuzzi tub. I have to say the service was exceptional. Our room was tidied up at least twice a day, and the clothes we left out were folded neatly for us. All of the servers we had in the restaurants and bars were warm and friendly. I want to especially mention Ivan, Bryan, and of course Martha with her warm hugs! The food was very good but I have to say the desserts were truly exceptional. So beautifully presented as well as delicious. I have had mango and sticky rice any number of times at Thai restaurants but the one at Momo was the best ever. My advice is, don’t skip dessert. I was also delighted that the coffee shop in the corner of the lobby has chocolates anytime day or night, and they’ll fill a bag for you to take back to your room. We snorkeled a number of times in front of the hotel. A few days it was too rough to go in, but that is the advantage of a longer stay. On our last day I went in for a snorkel. I wasn’t seeing anything new, so I decided to head back in when a huge 4’ stingray swam about 20’ under me! I also saw four smaller southern yellow stingrays. There is a nice variety of colorful tropical fish to see as well. The only complaint we had is the same others had - the vacation club salesmen are too aggressive and keep coming back to ask you to reconsider after you have already said no. It was awkward and annoying to have to avoid them. Luckily they gave up after a couple of days, but it did diminish our experience somewhat. I’d like to also mention that the entertainment provided was very enjoyable and included some very talented dancers and singers. If you want to see it, coordinate your meal reservations so you don’t miss it as they are usually performing sometime between 6:30 and 8:00 pm. We really enjoyed our stay!

High quality small resort, would go again!

Loved celebrating our anniversary at Cozumel Palace. This was the 3rd of the palace resorts we have been to and the quality was excellent! Pros: -Amazing food, accommodated easily for gluten free. We planned to eat off resort some but ended up staying for all dinners as the restaurants were so good. Green chili enchiladas 10/10. Carmita was a very fun server at the mexican restaurant - Snorkeling at resort. saw many many fish without leaving resort -Small size (could be con) but we enjoyed getting to know the staff and all places to be/go were easy; including the dolphin experience next door (which was great too!) - great rooms with ocean view, clean and stocked Cons: - No beach access - No real "spa." They have massage rooms with ocean view

Great stay but watch the Vacation Specialists, like little pit bulls

Really nice property, well maintained, staff in the restaurants, bar's, cafe, front desk, housekeeping / concierge, were so kind, courteous & helpful. The "Vacation Specialists" were not so polite. From where I come from - no means no. Repeatedly I was asked what my excursions, my plans etc. When I travel, I plan my trip. I didn't need to spend time with something I didn't need. Then I kept getting the skunk eye from one individual. Maybe his quota was down, I don't know. Not cool Cozumel Palace, I though you were classier than that. Then at the end I bought a "coupon" for $ 299 US that I have not seen a receipt in my email towards my next stay, dang, I should have waited for my husband.

    A Cozumel Dream

Our favorite place on Cozumel… the absolute BEST staff by far! Emmanuel at the pool is spectacular. He is attentive, kind and genuine. A true gem for sure. They are lucky to have him on staff. Victoria at Momo is a definite must see as well. She’s just so darn wonderful. Martha is a staple and you just feel like part of her family from the moment you meet her. David our concierge is top notch. The hotel is gorgeous and well maintained. Very central to town. The food is fresh, creative and always delicious. I would highly recommend staying at this palace priority. You won’t be disappointed.
