In need of an island getaway that won’t break the bank? You’ve come to the right place. RIU Hotels & Resorts has dozens of all-inclusive havens in the Caribbean that are as beautiful as they are budget-friendly.
Whether you need to relax or let loose, you can escape knowing all of your piña coladas are included in the price of your stay. That’s the beauty of an all-inclusive! Here’s where you can experience budget beach bliss for yourself in the Caribbean with RIU.
Aruba
Kicking it off at the top of the alphabet is the happy little island of Aruba (seriously, it’s known for being a legitimate happy place). There are two RIU resorts on the island, the family-friendly Riu Palace Aruba and the adults-only Riu Palace Antillas. These neighboring resorts sit on the iconic Palm Beach–picture the classic Caribbean white sand and turquoise waves–and both offer an amazing selection of 24-hour all-inclusive amenities and casino access.
RIU Palace Antillas has some added perks, including Elite Club status to guests in certain room categories. These privileges include access to premium liquor, preferred room locations, welcome gifts, private pools and MORE! Plus, this adults-only oasis is home to the electric RIU Party, so just keep that in mind when choosing your Aruba getaway.
The Bahamas
This next all-inclusive oasis is exclusive to adults–sorry kids! Riu Palace Paradise Island is in the heart of the Bahamas near the infamous Atlantis resort. However, unlike the Atlantis, this resort is all-inclusive, which is a rarity in the Bahamas.
This resort’s vibe is a chilled-out, adults-only scene, AKA no RIU Party. Instead you can enjoy live music, evening shows and poolside entertainment. Speaking of, it’s got two pools, including an infinity pool with a swim-up bar and built-in sun loungers, as well as a reserved white sand beach area. Sensing a theme?
The Dominican Republic
If you like options, you’re in for a treat. There are tons of awesome RIU resorts in Punta Cana, each with its own special vibe. The adults-only Riu Palace Macao was renovated in 2023, featuring newly designed rooms, specialty cocktail bars, a revamped spa experience available to all guests and of course, Elite Club privileges. Plus, there’s an awesome casino on the property for endless entertainment!
Riu Palace Macao is front and center on Bavaro Beach (white sands, again!) located next to three other family-friendly RIU resorts: Riu Bambu, Riu Palace Punta Cana and Riu Palace Bavaro. The latter also offers Elite Club experiences, but the entire complex shares access to Splash Water World, an awesome on-site waterpark! For an extra good time, all adult gusts can check out the adults-only fun at RIU Party.
On a different set of sand is Riu Republica. This all-inclusive oasis is set on Arena Gorda beach and is the definition of an adults-only playground. It hosts its own Splash Water World, eight pools, beach activities and an on-site nightclub–drinks included!
Jamaica
Last but not least, we have Jamaica serving up MORE amazing RIU resorts. In Montego Bay, you have three next-door adults-only resorts: Riu Reggae, Riu Montego Bay and Riu Palace Jamaica. You’ve got RIU Party and Splash Water World at Riu Montego Bay, Elite Club offerings at Riu Palace Jamaica and chill island vibes at Riu Reggae.
In Negril, family-friendly fun reigns supreme at Riu Palace Tropical Bay and Riu Negril. They’re both located on Bloody Bay beach with access to tons of amazing watersports. Think kayaking and snorkeling. Plus, Riu Negril added pickleball courts during its 2024 renovations, so basically these Negril all-inclusive resorts are an activity lover’s paradise.
Riu Ocho Rios is also a family-friendly favorite. It’s got six pools, including a children’s waterpark, as well as an indoor playground at RIU Land. We’re talking ball pit, jungle gyms and MORE.
And that concludes our tour of RIU resorts in the Caribbean. All this talk has us craving a getaway! Book your RIU vacation package with CheapCaribbean to score MORE savings on your all-inclusive vacay.
