Sep 23, 2025Amazing 5* Holiday
This was our first time to Breathless and 2nd time to Punta Cana. The resort is roughly about 45 mins from the airport (private transfer). We went for 2 weeks and booked an exhale limited sea view room as it was our 33rd wedding anniversary. Our room overlooked the Deep swim up pool so lovely and quiet in the evenings. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows to choose from. Mini bar was re-stocked daily with bottled water/soda etc and snacks provided too. Clean towels were also provided daily if needed. Our Consierge was Yimi, he was excellent at helping us with any requests we had and also full of knowledge and also helped with our excursion we booked. He checked in on us every day by wattsapp for the 2 weeks and would always pop to see us in resort to see if we needed any help and if everything was Ok. I would definitely recommend Yimi. The food at the restaurants was superb 99% of the holiday, the quality of the beef for the steaks, meatballs and burgers was excellent. Loved the fact that we did not need to book for the speciality restaurants also. We used the buffet for breakfast and lunch mostly, this was also good quality food and plenty to choose from for everybody's tastes. We also visited the Italian twice on the Dreams resort next door ( this was due to our Italian being closed on the two nights). This also was very nice and great food. We also had lunch from the barefoot grill which again was great quality. We spent our mornings at the quieter smaller Xhale Club pool, Franchiely took care of our coffee/orange juice needs on a morning... always with a smile and so professional and polite, lovely lady. Afternoons were spent at the Deep Swim up pool, Tairon, Daniel and Yohan were always happy to serve and kept us entertained in the afternoons! The staff here who we interacted with were all amazing. We visited the Freestyle pool on a few occasions to see the entertainment, again this was of high standard. We also watched some of the evening entertainment, loved the fire show, the animation team were great and work very hard. Simba was so much fun doing the pool water aerobics too! We used Amstar for our Saona Reserve trip and we absolutely loved the day, yes its a long day in hours but it went so quickly! The boat trip to and from the island was great, we were well fed and watered and wow Saona! Just breathtaking! Would recommend Amstar and will definitely use them again in the future! I would definitely recommend this resort 100%, we had an amazing 2 weeks, we are hoping to return in the future!! Thank you x

Everything was wonderful, Juan Nuñez from the Lobby bar was the best staff member that treat us; entertainment staff (not Chante) need to have better attitude and smile more, room service food (breakfast needs to improved, specially omelet, mine was overcooked, cold and almost without any vegetable or meat on it, hasbrown also overcooked). Also Miguel (bar supervisor), always caring about anything that we need.

Beautiful beaches, delicious food, amazing staff!
Spent 4 nights here. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were attentive. A special thank you to Yudelka for making this a wonderful experience by addressing my concerns and finding solutions to them!!!

A Nice Vacation
It was a nice stay. The resort is a bit dated and in need of an update. That being said, the staff was absolutely wonderful and the property was very clean. We may not return to this resort prior to an update, but we still had an awesome vacation. Gigi (our first concierge) was wonderful and super helpful. After Gigi left for the week, we had Elis, who was also incredible to work with. Both were attentive to our needs and were happy to assist us with any needs/wants that we had.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
- AdvisoryThe renovation is underway to expand the Silk Convention Center, to include five new breakout rooms and updated décor throughout the facility, also to update sections of the lobby, including a new Xhale Club Lounge, lobby bathrooms, and a new travel distributor representative area. work will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m to ensure the guest experience is not affected.
