  Very nice resort. If you are young it kind of forces you to go off the resort for some entertainment but they were very nice to offer you a cab and in my experience cab driver gave me his number to text when ready to pick up. There was not many activities to do that really grab your attention, pool volleyball, guess the music, challenges they were okay. things like pottery or sip and unwind (the evening activities) were booked up pretty fast which was disappointing considering the app crashed a lot. Or it said that there were no reservations but the people said they had low attendance and there was room. If you are a picky eater good luck with the dinner options. A lot of the food had a lot going on, steak with pee purée sauce, for example. There were only one or two things that I ate on the menu. The oishii Japanese place was really great and kind of a go-to compared to the others. The beach club was great, the water is kind of rough, I just used the pool. For night-time there was only the bloom bar happening until one am, some days were great others were a little boring. I would say this is definitely a relaxing vacation as instead of a party resort, and if you are into that good! I did enjoy my stay all the workers were so nice, and helpful, and it was very clean! Shoutout to Inaceio in the morning brunch buffet, Mauricio at the beach bar, and Yael at the pool bar!

  Great Vibes great service

  This resort is amazing! Despite ongoing construction, the exceptional service completely overshadowed any minor inconveniences. Jesus in guest services was a standout and deserves a special mention in this review. He was instrumental in helping me plan not one but two fabulous private events. His incredible communication and diligent follow-up made both gatherings special and a huge hit – other guests even tried to join our live party! And hats off to Alex and Eric in food service. The restaurant service was phenomenal. The food we were served at the restaurants was consistently delicious, hitting all the right notes. My favorite was the French and Japanese restaurants. We had very fast service at the Japanese restaurant, and the French restaurant made you feel like you were at a Michelin Star Restaurant. The beach club was neck and neck with the runner-up in food. Loved the seafood soup and nachos. Rooms were very nice. Very clean and spacious. The rooftop was beautiful, and the pool had nices views. The main pool was the best. We loved that it stayed open late and it's was very live. The food service at the pool was just a little slow. And the best thing they had was the wings. The general manager checked in with us frequently, and so did guest services. Oh, and unlike most resorts who are stingy with the housekeeping service, we had just about every day a visit from them. Carlos was the life of the party in the Vantage Club Bar. And Arsenio, though quite, was very nice also at the Vantage Club Bar. Cons: Drinks seamed very watered down. Even in the Vantage Club drinks. No real club seen. And the Mosquitoess!!! They were like piranhas. In some cases, it made it very difficult to enjoy a meal or just an evening out. The beach club needs a more hope vibe. The Dj there put us to sleep both times we went. No dinner buffet. A lot of nights the app would say all reservations were booked. And then there was nowhere to have dinner outside of the Cafe. (Jesus did always find us a spot) But not everyone will have a Jesus 😊

  Exceptional Stay – We’ll Be Back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  From the moment we arrived at Hyatt Vivid Cancun, the experience was excellent. We were warmly greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks, quickly accommodated, and given a helpful tour of the property along with tips on how to make the most of our stay. The resort never felt overcrowded, which made it even more enjoyable. The pools were clean, well-designed, and never too busy. The grounds were immaculate—beautifully maintained with plenty of scenic spots perfect for taking photos. Service across the entire property was top-notch. Whether at the restaurants, bars, or poolside, the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. Special shout-outs to Guadalupe (breakfast chef), Gustavo (pool service), Mario and Jesus (Ceviche Bar), and Angel and Orlando (entertainment). The beach club staff were also fantastic, as were all the waiters at the beach restaurant. The food was truly a highlight! Every restaurant offered healthy and flavorful options. Our favorite was Oishii (Japanese), but the Mediterranean and Italian restaurants were excellent as well. The outdoor Ceviche Bar was a standout and became our go-to spot for lunch—fresh, light, and delicious. The drinks were perfectly balanced—not too strong, not too watered down. The Beach Club exceeded expectations. Even though it requires a short shuttle ride, it’s absolutely worth it. The setup is stunning with plenty of shade, an infinity pool, and a great mix of sun beds and lounge chairs. The beach restaurant offered a variety of fresh, healthy options in a beautiful beachfront setting. The decor throughout the resort is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We also loved the fact that music was playing throughout the day—it created a lively, fun vibe that many hotels lack. Check-out was smooth and accommodating—we were even allowed to stay until 2 PM with no extra charge. We don’t usually return to the same resort twice, but we’re already planning our next stay at Hyatt Vivid Cancun. That alone says it all!

  My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Hyatt Vivid! Cesar, Orlando, Yohanna, Gama, Sophie, Jesus, Roberto and Pedro made our time at the pool excellent! We were disappointed with the beach club! It was way too crowded, no chairs were available to sit as they had towels and personal stuff on them. The beach entry is not ideal right in front of the property but to the left about 100 yards away was a nice beach entry. The attendance should be limited to the amount of chairs available as sitting on the beach is not an option. We loved Aglio, the italian restaurant! The breakfast/lunch buffet were ok, something for everyone! We wished there was more entertainment in the evenings. We will be back!

  Pool Activities with Cesar - Ceviche with Jesus and Mario

  Pros: Ceasar at the pool was delightful and so outgoing. He’s got some great dance moves and his volleyball ain’t so bad either. Jesus and Mario at the ceviche bar were fabulous. The ceviche is so fresh you can’t stop eating it Guillermo at Nectar took care of us and his service was immaculate . ALL TOP TIER Service Con’s: Our room seemed to never cool Off and the buffet was 👎🏼
