  A Fresh Gem in Cancun (Hyatt Vivid Grand Island)

  Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun - A Fresh Gem in Cancun! We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun, and it truly exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out — we were greeted with a refreshing cool towel and a delicious welcome drink, which was the perfect start to our stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for the rest of the experience. Resort & Rooms The resort itself is beautifully designed — modern, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms are large, clean, and contemporary, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. The main areas are aesthetically pleasing, and the rooftop pool (exclusive to Vantage Club guests) is a serene escape with stunning views. Food & Dining Highlights One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the food and drinks — simply excellent across the board. • Coco Café: A cozy spot offering amazing ice cream, sandwiches, pastries, and great coffee. Huge thanks to Rogelio and Ricardo for their warm service. • Aglio (Italian Restaurant): The pasta and pizza were absolutely delicious. Shoutout to Eric for the excellent service. • Lely’s (French Restaurant): The sea bass was a standout dish — flavorful and perfectly cooked. Thanks to Raul and Jesus for making the meal memorable. • Oishii (Japanese Restaurant): Our favorite of all! The Robata grill and seaweed chips were bursting with flavor. Thank you to Guillermo for outstanding service. • Dahlia (Buffet Restaurant): A great variety of dishes for breakfast and lunch. Everything was fresh and tasty. Special thanks to Roselle. • The Hub Snack Bar: A must-try for wings and nachos. The service here was top-notch — Oliver was phenomenal, and kudos to Guillermo and Gustavo as well. • Bloom Bar: A great place to unwind with expertly made cocktails. Special thanks to Jessica and Stephanie for their hospitality. The cocktails throughout the resort were beautifully presented and full of flavor — crafted with care and attention to detail. Beach Club Experience The Ennea Beach Club is nice but relatively small. While we were there, the upper floor was closed for remodeling. Getting there requires a 10-minute ride on a free shuttle. It's a nice escape, but hopefully, once renovations are complete, the full potential of the space will shine through. Entertainment & Activities The animation team deserves a huge shoutout! They kept the energy high with daily activities like arts & crafts, yoga, Zumba, Latin dance lessons, karaoke, and more. Big thanks to Saul, Angel ("Mexican Chocolate"), Yohana, Orlando, and Cesar for making the experience fun and memorable. A Few Drawbacks While we had a fantastic time, there were a few minor issues: • Sewage smell near the pickleball courts, which unfortunately spread across the resort when it rained. • The lobby bar feels a bit small for a resort of this size. • When VIPs are present, some venues (like bars) may be closed off to other guests, which can be frustrating. Final Thoughts Despite a few hiccups, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun truly impressed us with its excellent service, fantastic food, and stylish atmosphere. The team went above and beyond to make our stay special, and the resort is already setting a high standard despite being new. Highly recommended for couples, groups, or solo travelers looking for a fresh all-inclusive adults only experience in Cancun!

  Relaxing Resort

  This was a birthday trio for my twin and I. We had two friend’s with us as well. It was a very relaxing clean resort, friendly staff. It is not a party resort, if you are looking for party and night life this is not the resort for you. If you are looking for relaxation with daily activities this would be perfect for you. It’s not in the hotel zone, so transportation can get costly if you plan to leave the resort a lot. I enjoyed my stay.

  An Incredible Stay – But the Ceviche Bar Steals the Show!

  From the moment we arrived at Hyatt Vivid, we could tell this resort was something special. The property feels brand new, with beautifully designed rooms that are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. Everything—from the beds to the bathrooms—speaks to comfort and quality. It’s also worth noting the hotel’s proximity to the golf course, which made sneaking in a round or two effortless and enjoyable. But the absolute highlight of our stay was the Ceviche Bar. Without exaggeration, it is the best restaurant in the resort. Jesus and Mario run the show with such warmth, energy, and professionalism that they transform a great dining experience into an unforgettable one. The ceviche itself was spectacular—fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced—but what truly made the bar our go-to spot was the atmosphere they created. They make you feel like family while serving some of the finest food and cocktails we’ve had anywhere. Hyatt Vivid exceeded our expectations in every way, and thanks to the unforgettable experiences at the Ceviche Bar, we already know: we will be back.

  First time at Hyatt all inclusive

  This was our first time at a Hyatt all inclusive and, as UVC members, we decided to visit this place for the VIP event for members. We have mixed feelings as we are used to Dreams and Secrets so we compared it with those. To start, this is a new resort and some areas seemed unfinished. The spa is not ideal as they are waiting to open the Dreams next door to Hyatt can use their spa. Not sure if this is common for Hyatt but this one requires restaurant reservations for all 3 restaurants. We were lucky the resort was not full capacity and we were able to have dinner at a decent time. The ride to beach club is short and nice. Unfortunately, the beach had seaweed and didn't enjoy it but the pool area is nice. The service, food and drinks were good. The music, not so much. Us and 3 other people asked dj to play another type of music and he said that wasn't the style of the beach club. Sami was great there. Service here is excellent, no complaints there. Example: we arrived on a Saturday and the taco truck only opens Fridays and Saturdays. There was miscommunication and we understood it was open everyday. While speaking with Christopher, bar manager, he confirmed the taco truck schedule and we mentioned we would miss having them since we had already eaten. He went to taco truck and brought us tacos so we wouldn't leave without trying them. That is thinking outside the box and listening to the guests. We were happily surprised.   Fantastic

  Best resteraunt on the resort. Jesus and Mario provided excellent customer service and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend.
