Top 5 Beaches with Activities for Everyone

by Hope Heldmar

Some people like to lay out and relax on the beach. Others want to hop on a jet-ski and speed through the waters. No matter what your beach activity preference is, one of these five beaches is sure to have something you like. These are our top 5 crowd-pleasing beaches, the ones that have so many different types of activities to choose from that even the pickiest beach-goer will find something to enjoy! Enough talk. Let's hit the beach.

1. Palm Beach

This beach has white sand and calm water, perfect for anyone who wants to go swimming. But even better, this beach is lined with resorts like the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino and therefore provides a lot of amenities and services. Want a snack? You got it. Want to rent some equipment so you can head out on the water? You've got that too. All resorts here open their amenities and grounds to the public, so you have easy access to just about everything you could possibly want.

2. Orient Beach
St. Martin

This baby is St. Martin's flagship beach and is known as the "French Riviera of the Caribbean." Why? Because it's home to plenty of activity including numerous bars, restaurants and resorts like the Alamanda Resort. You've got tons of different food options to keep you busy and if you happen to have a daring side, you can let it out on the southern portion of this beach, known as the "nude side." If that's not your cup of tea, stick to the northern part of the beach. Didn't we tell you? Orient Beach really does have something for every taste.

3. Seven Mile Beach

As the longest beach in Jamaica, Seven Mile Beach is known as one of the island's best. It's lined with numerous resorts that offer plenty of beach activities but it also has a number of designated areas for swimming and sunbathing. Snorkel through the crystal-clear surf, challenge your sweetheart to a kayak race, enjoy the underwater world on a glass-bottom boat tour or savor cold bottles of Red Stripe on the sunset catamaran cruise.

4. Crane Beach

The Crane Resort and Residences is located on the amazing Crane Beach, named one of the "Top Ten Beaches in the World" by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The resort is spectacular, but so is the beach. With protective rocks surrounding it, Crane Beach is not only secluded but is also the perfect spot to go body surfing and boogie boarding. And if all you want to do is stretch out on the beach in peace and quiet, you can do that at this luxurious location too.

5. Pink Sands Beach

Rated as one of the "Best Bahamas Beaches" by The Travel Channel, the beaches of Harbour Island in the Bahamas draw people in because of its pink sand. However, the warm, clear ocean water is what keeps them around. The waters provide excellent diving, boating and fishing. Plus, the surrounding reefs make for great, calm waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. If you're at Paradise Island Harbour Resort, you'll be just a hop and a skip away from a perfect day at the beach.

There are plenty of Caribbean beaches to enjoy, but if you can't pick just one, then pick one of these because they won't let you down! Whether you like a day of adventure or just want to work on your tan, one of these beaches will be perfect for you.
