    Small resort, friendly people

We had a lot of fun. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was surprisingly good. All of the negative reviews I had read had me a little worried. Honestly, I don’t know what type of experience many of these reviewers are looking for. My wife and I have been to many all inclusives, this was maybe our favorite. The resort is very small, which translates to short walks and no waiting in line. While the restaurant choices aren’t large, they are adequate. The many butler complaints I read weren’t accurate for us. Henry sought us out to make dinner reservations every day, mini bar filling was hit or miss. Henry usual got it done. We had a lot of fun in the pool bar, Luis, Fransisco, Edwin were energetic and entertaining! Outstanding dinner service was provided by Paul, Robert,Cristina and Fransisco. Yelitza in the coffee bar and mi hermano Vladimir the egg man. If you are looking for a beach resort, this is not it. The TRS Turquesa would be a much better fit. If you are looking for a small resort with better than average food and friendly staff, nice rooms with a great swim up, this might be for you.

A 3.5 star hotel (5-star price) at best in an exclusive part of punta cana.

Visited this resort with family for five days. I’ll start by saying this is not a luxury resort by any means, but a 3.5 star resort in an exclusive part of Punta Cana (Cap Cana) I chose this hotel over The Level at Melia which was a huge mistake. The grounds were very nice. Beautiful views. Some details were missing. For example, the plastic cups at the pool need to be replaced as they are oxidized. I really wouldn't have complained if it weren't so expensive. I promise, my expectations would've been lower had this hotel been cheaper. While the staff at check-in, Santa and Julio, were friendly and helpful, the overall experience at this resort fell short of expectations. Having visited other Palladium resorts with positive experiences, particularly the Grand Palladium in Montego Bay, this location unfortunately did not meet the same standards. Service throughout the stay was inconsistent. Inattentiveness at meals was frustrating, particularly at breakfast where assistance from a manager was required. Additionally, amenities at the spa were inoperable, with the Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room malfunctioning. After I chewed a few people out the first-day service mostly improved. The food was overall good with poor presentation. The only buffet was at breakfast, which was good. If you upgrade, the lobster avocado toast is amazing. The rest of the meals were a la carte. The smoked salmon poke bowl was the highlight. We opted for the premium experience, which included upgraded liquor. However, obtaining these beverages proved to be a hassle due to repeated requests for authorization and frequent stock shortages. Communication gaps were also evident, leading to confusion over drink orders at the pool bar. The advertised premium room inclusions, four half-bottles of liquor, were also misleading as the size wasn't mentioned beforehand. Disappointingly, our final dinner reservation resulted in a 20-minute wait for seating in a secluded area, followed by the restaurant closing before our meal was finished. The lack of air conditioning in this section further detracted from the experience, with unanswered inquiries regarding its deactivation. While some staff members were friendly, the persistent need to address service issues overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. This resort unfortunately did not provide the value we were looking for. Special thank you to these people: Gregory, food concierge Roberto Stephanie Miguel Juan Luis Oscar Johnathan Cassandra, the cleaning lady. Cleaning lady from San Cristobal (Sorry, didn’t write her name down) Evelyn Christina MELVIN, a great bartender. Extremely friendly. Charly was the best. Endless energy and offered solutions to everything. Diahana was our cleaning lady, she was very polite. Julio Henry

    Couple's Trip

TRS Cap Cana Waterfront is not just a place to go to have fun, but to relax, listen to good music and drink all day if you are a drinker. Cap Cana has the best service I've seen and has great hospitality. The food was great but need more of variety. Other than that, it was a great time.

Location needs an upgrade . This is not the staple of the TRS brand

The staff is very nice and tries very hard. The property needs an upgrade and different mindset about the activities. The resort is quiet and that is good for the most part but you need more to do in the afternoon and evening. The property has space to do more . The food needs a big overhaul . This is not the TRS brand I know of .
