No, not the weather, but the stars forecast, because we predict romance and relaxation in your future at Seven Stars Resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The resort sits on the pale sands and gentle surf of Grace Bay, recently awarded TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice Award for being the number-one beach in the world. Quiet beauty and total relaxation are the name of the game at Seven Stars Turks. Check in and make your way to the island's only heated saltwater pool. After the sun sets, the resort's prime location means you're right in the middle of downtown Provo nightlife.

    I felt like Royalty

My husband and I just came back from staying at Seven Stars in Turks and Caicos, we were celebrating my 70th birthday. When we first arrived we were immediately greeted with a rum drink and cold towel, AHHH , that hit the spot because it was hot and humid, our taxi barely had AC. BRAVO to the ENTIRE STAFF at SEVER STARS . Every employee at the Seven Stars went beyond any service that I have ever encountered in my 70 years of life and I have traveled a lot in many countries. I do not know the female's name that was most helpful and super friendly, I believe she was the Guest Relations Manager, maybe her name started with N. The names I do remember are Jamy ,Reynaldo, our waitress Danie and Lila, from Nepal, also was extremely welcoming and very eager to help out in any way, he served drinks by the beach. They ALL made it a point to remember our last names. Again, my husband and I got the Royal Treatment and we were not any celeb. I can never thank the staff enough for helping us to forget the stress in life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here, it was worthy every penny. If you are from the USA their currency is the American dollar.

Beautiful rooms and views but didn't love the resort

We wanted to love this resort, especially given the countless 5 star reviews. However, we didn't love it. We thought it was good to okay. The things we loved: We had an ocean front junior suite and while other reviews said rooms were dated, we thought it was lovely. Very spacious. Bed super comfy! Loved that we had a little kitchenette in the room, complete with generous amounts of coffee, sugars, creamer, etc. Also loved the built in auto icemaker. Huge bathroom. Towels were a little tired, but not bad. Balcony faced the ocean/bay and it provided stunning views! The adult's pool was great. A bit small but Charles was there every day and was so nice and friendly! He really took pride in his work! Never had an issue getting two chairs in the shade. We had massages two different days in the spa. Very good therapists. A bit pricey but that's expected at any resort. Despite some of the reviews about the breakfast buffet (which was included in our rez), we thought it was yummy! Fresh omelets each day, lots of choices of meats, pancakes, fruits, pastries, cheeses, yogurt, juice and more. Seemed to have something for everyone! The resort overall was clean, beautifully manicured, well-lit at night. The not so great: First, Turks & Caicos is incredibly expensive! We didn't do our research ahead of time, and every bill comes with a 12% tax, 10% service fee and then tip also expected. Meals and drinks were very pricey. We didn't think the quality and choice of food at any of the hotel restaurants were adequate for the price we paid. The most enjoyable items we had besides breakfast were the meat lovers pizza and the cheeseburger at The Deck. We were disappointed with the Conch trio (overcooked and chewy), the grilled grouper (bland), and an entree salad (dressing both came out bubbly so we opted not to add dressing). The chips and guac we had at The Terrace were great! The fish and chips were not. Fish was WAY over breaded and flavorless, and the fries were fine. The Arugala salad at the Farm was okay, not great. But the gardens at The Farm are stunning. Finally, we ate at Seven but the only thing we really enjoyed were the beignets. Friendly service was hit or miss across the resort, but I would say hit or miss across the island. Being overly friendly seemed to help but it took a while for staff to warm up. Overall, given the room/view we are happy with our stay, but I would likely opt for the Ritz next door if we were to come back to T&C.

    Nice beach resort

We had an oceanfront junior suite on a high floor, with a very nice view. Be aware that “oceanfront” here does not necessarily mean a direct view parallel to the water - our view was angled across the pool, and offered a long, extended view of the beach and the beautiful water - but I was quite happy with this view. Our balcony faced the sunset, which was nice, but also meant that the late afternoon sun made it too hot to enjoy the balcony then. Rooms in the building on the opposite side of the pool (the side closest to the Ritz) would have direct sun in the morning instead. Even though we were on the 6th floor, we could hear the sound of the surf on our balcony, which included both normal chairs and lounge chairs. Our room was plenty spacious for 2 people with two large suitcases. The bathroom and shower were spacious and very nice, but the toilet area was a bit tight, with a small washer-dryer fitted into that area as well. The water at the beach was absolutely beautiful - a clear, mostly calm water that got too deep to stand very quickly - but extended out at a comfortable depth for swimming or floating quite a distance from shore. While we were there, the water varied from small, bobbing waves to very calm, and was a very comfortable temperature. We never had a problem getting chairs on the beach (we usually go down around 10-10:30). However beach chairs are in 3 rows, and are arranged very close together - be prepared to sit a few inches from strangers. We preferred the palapas on the back row, which offered more space and room to move our chairs to stay shaded during the day. It appeared from our balcony that front row chairs were typically all claimed by 8 am or so. The hotel’s location was excellent for walking to restaurants for dinner. We particularly enjoyed Le Bouchon, as well as Casa Nonna at the Ritz. We tried the curry night at The Farm at Seven Stars, where the setting was lovely at night, at least if you can sit closer to the street, away from the sound system speakers, which blasted at assault-level if sitting near the entrance. The breakfast buffet was extensive and varied a bit from day to day. The beach is long, with beautiful water, but far more people than we expected or had experienced on trips to the Caribbean. The resorts lining the beach are closer than I expected - one right beside the other. The hotel is very nice and makes for an easy, modern get-away to a beautiful beach, but don’t go expecting serenity or a Caribbean atmosphere.

White Sand Beaches, Amazing NYE Party

My family of 22 (yes, big group!) came here for a week-long stay for the second time, our third time all together in Turks & Caicos. And the location simply can’t be beat! The beach is pristine, and it’s so incredibly easy to walk up and down the white sand for miles. Service at the beach was also great, with very attendant staff bringing all kinds of drinks and lunch options off a pretty extensive menu. The adult pool was fabulous — heated with the most magical waterfall feature and we were just wishing we’d tried it before our second to last day. And we also enjoyed the life-size chess board, bocce ball, spa, and (small) fitness center. The included breakfast had lots of options (although nothing above average taste wise), and it was a nice gathering spot for our whole family every morning. The Deck made excellent espresso martinis for us, and we found the food at The Farm to be the best on site. The decor and facilities overall definitely feel a bit dated, and you’re mostly paying for the space inside the rooms. But their NYE party on the beach simply can’t be beat, and there’s a reason why we’ve returned! Would I stay here by myself or in a smaller group? Maybe not for the price. But it handles our large group well, has something for everyone, and is so centrally located on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.

Seven Stars - best on Grace Bay!

Another lovely holiday at Seven Stars. Prior to going, we asked our adult daughter whether to switch things up and go elsewhere. She said why mess with success and was she ever right. The staff know us by name and are attentive and friendly. Service is top notch. James runs an amazing operation at the Deck where we had lunch everday. Pool service was great. Breakfast service provides great variety. Rooms are well appointed. It is definitely the best resort on Grace Bay.
