    Stay Somewhere Else not worth it!!!!!

    I stayed from 06/25/2025 to 07/01/2025 and they screwed me out of my points for my stay. I booked the room and paid for it and they put the points all under my sister.They did not bother to fix the points and the customer service SUCKS!!! Do not waist time booking because they are shady when it comes to giving the points that you deserve in the end!!!!!! I spent over $3000.00 cash and they didn’t give me my correct points and they are determined not to honor the points, I sent them the receipt and they still wouldn’t give me my points but I will be staying elsewhere when I come back!!!!!!!

    Great overall

    Food was yummy and kept fresh at buffets. Room service ( Renee ) was awesome. Location was beautiful and it was nice having the ability to walk between the three Riu hotels for slightly different atmosphere. The only thing I would change is all the posters and photos of Caucasians all over the hotel- the gym, above the lobby bar, etc. If I’m in Jamaica I want to see Jamaican women and men being displayed and shown love, not the people who colonized their land.

    Inescapable noise

    This is at best a 2-3 star hotel. The facilities are mediocre, but generally clean. The downside to this hotel is that it is most definitely a party resort catering for 18-20 somethings. If you want a relaxing beach holiday this is not the place for you. The 2 pools both play very loud music, but not the same songs, despite being right next to each other. Trying to listen to 2 different songs, both at top volume is nothing but a headache. We actually paid someone to turn the music down at the Margarita pool because we simply could not take it anymore. You will hear hotel guests returning to their room at all hours of the night and they are NOT quiet about it. Then you will get other guests asking them to quiet down, which inevitably descends into an argument. You will not sleep at this resort, this place is just inescapable noise 24/7. Housekeeping are generally ok but there seems to be a great towel shortage at this hotel. Every single day the towels at the pool ran out and it was always 50/50 as to whether we would get back to the room and have towels, as housekeeping also seemed to frequently run out of towels. Housekeeping also keep very odd hours, it was not unusual for them to be cleaning your room at 6/7/8pm, I have never known this to happen at other resorts. The food is ok, the steak restaurant was the best and the Italian restaurant is inedible, don't even bother booking it. The only redeeming factors to this hotel are Dondre at the buffet restaurant and Samanda and Delroy at the Margarita pool bar.
