    Great Vacation

    Our stay at RIU Palace Antillas was excellent! The service from the staff in every department of the hotel was superb. It was exactly what I expected from an all-inclusive stay. The food, the bars, the beach, the pool, were all wonderful. There was something for every member of my family every day. We will be visiting RIU properties in the future.

    Stay away! This hotel is overpriced and cheats his customers about claimed hotel credit. We booked this hotel even though it was pricey, because they offered a 600$ hotel credit. This credit are literally coupons that you can only use at very limited places, including the spa, casino, one shop and weddings at Riu. Even worse, the credit comes in from if 10-15% coupons of an overpriced item, eg at the spa. You would need to spend 5000$ to make “use” of the 600$. When we approached the hotel staff they were very unprofessional and only after multiple visits we were handed the attached page which is clearly dated and only applies to US guests!? We were told to file a complaint afterwards which we did, but also this only resulted in meaningless emails. I travel one third of the year all over the world and this was the worst experience ever. I have only one recommendation; stay away! On top of a cheating business, the hotel is dated and old. Only positive was the food and the beach plus beauty if Aruba. But you can do better a different hotel than Riu.

    Great vacation getaway

    This is my 5th time to Aruba and each time Ive stayed at the RIU Antillas-Adults All inclusive. Food is excellent and in abundance. Non-stop drinks being served. Staff is always smiling and happy to help you with any questions or concerns. My room was very clean, refrigerator stocked with drinks and liquor. They have activities on going at the beach and pool. Loved the water aerobics on the beach but they have a gym on site for a more intense workout. My only suggestion is the entertainment at night in the big room could have been better. Piano player in the lobby was great. Wish he could play for longer periods of time. All in all, I had a great time and will be returning for my 6th visit to Aruba at the RIU.

    This location ruined my vacation..they didn’t treat EVERYONE THE SAME

    This by far was the worst vacation at this location.I had a king suite with 3 twin beds crammed in the room. The ropes to the robes were tied around the bed?housekeeping folded my dirty towels & placed back on the shelf in the bathroom. Dinning staff gave me trouble everyday about dress code( others dressed the same as I )manager made dinner reservations for me to eat at restaurant that u had to stand in line for hours to get in. Ooo did I leave out the blood & mold in the bathroom.. staff looked nice & appeared to b4 helpful until I had an issue. Room cards issues everyday even when it was near my phone.food was mediocre and the entertainment wasn’t great…. Music level played was at a low.. kids under 13 walking on the beach while it’s an adult resort.. kids friendly hotel next door.we couldnt take food to the pool side unless it was on a NAPKIN..really sad.Pool water was nice & see through on day 1 however by day 3 water was cloudy… never got back in the pool for my remaining days….But I do wanna thank the young crew at the pool side for the entertainment. I will NOT be recommending nor will I ever stay at this location again.had to go on the strip for better FOOD & DRINKS
