The Best All Inclusive in Mexico

I normally never write reviews on anything, but I felt like one was needed for this vacation. I stayed at the hotel July 19-23 and I can start off by saying that was not enough time to get everything done that the place has to offer. You need a good 7-10 days if you plan on doing EVERYTHING. There's about 7 different parks (and by parks I mean places outside the resort that you have to take a shuttle to) that offer pretty much every excursion you can think of that's already included in the price you paid. Your wrist band you get at the hotel is your access to everything, including your room key and credit card if you want to link it so you can make purchases at the gift shops in all the parks. Depending on the park, the shuttle bus ride is anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour ride. It picks up at the lobby every 20 minutes. At the parks you'll be able to do zip lining, ATVs, swim in a cave, swim in a river through the jungle, watch shows, see some animals, and plenty more. There are also additional things to do like swimming with dolphins and sea treking that cost extra. There are buffets at these parks that are included so you don't miss out on your free food all day while at the parks. The hotel itself is huge and you can spend a few hours walking from one end to the other. There's a boat that can take you to one of the parks and along the way you'll pass by the Xcaret Occidental which is the sister hotel. The rooms are spacious and everyone gets 2 hammocks on their balcony. Your fridge is full of drinks and snacks, and there's 24 hour room service included in hour stay. You can even set up a specific time you want breakfast delivered in the morning the next day. There's also a taco truck that is set up at the resort starting at 5:30 until midnight. There's a million pools that have swim up bars and waiters walking around bringing you drinks. There's a kid pool that has a giant octopus and each tentacle is a slide. There's a man made beach where you can paddle boat and kayak in, and there's also the real beach but it's not much to look at. It's very rocky and has tons of seaweed. You can still go in it and take in the amazing view, but it wasn't white sand and clear blue water like some other resorts. At night there wasn't much to do at the hotel except the sports bar/ restaurant that was open until 4am every night with a live band or dj. It was a fun time, but there wasn't many people there. Unless you travel outside the resort, you're not getting much night life here. I think it's because everyone is so exhausted from all the excursions and activites during the day people go to bed early. Overall I will definitely be back to finish out on all the activities I missed. Pros: beautiful hotel Amazing food Tons of excursions included Plenty of pools and swim up bars Spacious rooms Extremely friendly and helpful staff Cons: TONS of walking, both at the parks and hotel Beach is not that good Not much night life 1 hour shuttle ride from the hotel to Cancun airport

Exceptional service and beautiful resort!

We arrived at the airport and were surprised that we didn't have to wait long for the shuttle which held about 15 people. Rosario was sweet and informative and our driver was great. We filled out the paperwork on the way and upon arrival, we were informed about the resort and were in our rooms in no time. My family of 5, our daughters are 21, 19, and 15 were impressed at the beauty of the resort. It is truly a natural, eco friendly feel with waterfalls, caves, suspension bridges, and awesome paths to explore. Our rooms were beautiful, great balconies with hammocks, lots of towels, and the most comfortable sheets. Food was good, we liked the buffet for breakfast, they had awesome omelettes and crepes, for lunch we mostly ate at the beach restaurant, and our favorite dinner was at the asian restaurant. We also ate at Las Cuevas (which was cool) and the Mexican restaurant. We didn't like Trajineras that much. It is definitely a relaxing resort as you have access to all the parks during the day. We would have liked some music at the pools and maybe a few activities, but understood it was the quiet aspect of the vacation. We had no problem relaxing at the beach and pool with a book or swimming. We also enjoyed a couple of hidden waterslides, paddle boarding and kayaking. The beach is disappointing if you like to walk on white sand, it is on a reef with only a few areas to enter the water and not a lot of sand, but we made do and still enjoyed the beautiful views and calm waters. The lagoons are cool to hang out and we enjoyed the fact that you could find private areas to hang out. We never had an issue getting a chair anywhere. We did the Xenotes excursion with Saul and we had a great time. Loved all of the activities at each cenote and our guide was really nice. We took the bikes to Xcaret but it was super crowded and we were annoyed that they didn't tell us to bring towels and many things were not included. You have to purchase water, drinks, food etc. unless you go to the buffet which we thought was awful. We didn't stay long. We also did Xolimilco which was a fun night, although long night, but it was nice to have something to do at night. There isn't really anything to do at night at the resort. There's a band or music in the bar but if you want to dance or anything like that, it isn't likely. They had a DJ once of twice but it started at like midnight. The service was the best! We love going to Mexico because they are such hard workers and still manage to always smile and greet everyone. Carlos at the beach, Sergio at the Cantina, Daniel at Las Cuevas, Pedro at our small pool, Marcello at the Asian restaurant, and many more I can't remember their names helped to make the vacation an awesome one. Housekeeping was perfect and the place was always being cleaned by so many people. There were even people walking around and fixing our towels on our chairs-definitely above and beyond. Water is in glass bottles so I would recommend bringing a few yeti type bottles to fill with water to travel with. Probably best to book some reservations before arrival because it seemed like they filled up fast. My only suggestions to the resort would be to better organize the omelette lines. Everyone stands in front of the one place that has bacon and waffles and it is difficult to get in there. Also, maybe add music to one of the pools, add a little more to the nightlife at the resort, and maybe signs on where to wait for buses in the front of the building. Let your workers know they are doing a fantastic job welcoming your guests and exceeding our expectations. We had a great week!

Best Resort I've Ever Been In

First off this resort is as gorgeous or even prettier than it looks in pictures. As soon as you arrive to the resort you are greeted by their excellent concierge people all around the resort. They explain everything you can do and explain everything about the hotel. The architecture of the resort is just gorgeous. The views of the pools and the beach is something out of a postcard. Theres so many restaurants and bars with different variety of food all around. The rooms are amazing and beautiful with hammocks and rainfall showers. Theres so many trails and bridges all over with bicycle trails to the parks. Just the fact that you can go to every park whenever u want is just incredible and worth the value. This is hands down most likely the best resort in Cancun. I will defenitely be back very soon.
