Sun-kissed sand and plenty of palapas cover the quiet crescent of beach outside Las Brisas Ixtapa. Couples stroll hand-in-hand, play in the surf or sip cervezas while soaking up the sun. Four pools cascade down a multi-tiered patio – find your favorite spot to sip fresh coco locos from the poolside Las Fuentes Bar. Craving something more substantial? Six amazing restaurants offer plenty of options: from seafood linguini at Portofino and fresh lobster at Solarium to the well-seasoned tri-tip at 16th century colonial hacienda-style El Mexicano. No matter the choice, guests are in for a feast of flavor. Finish up in time to catch an unbelievable sunset. Want to check out local nightlife? Ixtapa's shopping, dining and entertainment district is only minutes away.
Romantic vacations are as relaxing or exciting as you want them to be at the Las Brisas resort in Ixtapa. Explore the great blue on a diving excursion or point out colorful coral on a snorkeling trip. Been working on your serve? Four onsite tennis courts encourage friendly matches. Want to take a romantic sunset cruise? The resort's marina is only five minutes away.
Head to your balcony hammock to enjoy the view – pretty easy when all the rooms have incredible ocean vistas. The extra-comfy beds make sure guests have the sweetest sleep possible. Best spit on the Pacific
. This was our 9th time returning to Las Brisas Ixtapa, and it never disappoints. The staff are amazing and keep us coming back. From Pedro, Sergio, Margarito, David on the beach and the best lifeguards in Ixtapa Victor and Arturo to the lobby with Itzel and Balti also Cirillo in Bellavista and Reynaldo in the Solarium and Jasmine in La Brisas 2 + many more they always make us feel like family in our home away from home. Even with a global pandemic taking place they were calming and provided a top notch level of service to us. We look forward to returning soon for another visit.
Overall very pleased with this hotel, the amenities, and staff. The only negative - we booked into the Brisas II a la carte restaurant by the beach for my birthday. I had the "catch of the day" described as being caponata with tomatoes and capers. It had neither and the fish was very dry and overcooked. My friend's main was of a similar quality. The appy's were great, and dessert tasty. However, halfway through dessert, the servers brought a "Birthday" cake with candle and they sang to me - which was really lovely - but I didn't need 2 desserts. So a little forethought from the server to bring the Birthday cake first and then take orders for dessert might have been a better idea. But that really was our only complaint. The other 2 a la carte restaurants were fabulous. Never had a problem finding lounge chairs and palapas on the beach or by the pools (however, this was pre-Spring break and just before everything was shut down because of Covid.) Oh, and the Adult only pool really was, so wonderfully relaxing if that's what you're looking for. Oh and the beds were very comfortable in a large spacious room.
Relaxing and beautiful resort. Food was hit and miss but the amazing views and architecture more than make up for it. Not a bad seat in the house. Plus the staff’s professionalism & care to cleanliness during such a viral threat was commendable and appreciated.
A happy return as always
I love this hotel. I have been a guest there since 1984 and it is always a treat to return. The staff is amazing, the architecture and grounds are true gems. The food is splendid, and the service is great I always look forward to coming back
