SPRING BREAK POLICY - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behavior or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
SPRING BREAK GROUPS POLICY - Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
- Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.

Mostly wonderful just a few minor hiccups.
The staff was excellent. If something was not to your liking they fixed it. We asked for a king bed and there were 3 beds in our room. We went back to the lobby and they apologized and gave us another room. The alarm clock didn't work but who needs an alarm clock on vacation. We just wanted to set the time because it kept flashing 12:00. Some of the numbers on the safe didn't work so we had to come up with a combination that involved certain numbers. The phone didn't work the first day but it did the rest of our time. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with beer and soda. Overall we enjoyed our stay our only complaint was the "breakfast" that the resort PUSHED on us. We were asked multiple times in the same conversation about attending a breakfast at another resort that discusses time shares. We found this to be frustrating because we were on OUR time trying to enjoy OUR vacation and the hotel was pushing this. Finally after several NO'S, our answer was accepted.
My husband and I returned home on February 29 after spending 10 nights at this hotel. The staff is awesome. Leidy an Solsey kept our room spotless. The front desk staff was friendly. As our assigned room was not ready upon check in, we were re-assigned to a ground floor right by the pool and ocean. We loved sitting on our patio after spending the day on the beach. We never had to wait for drinks at the pool bar. We ate lunch daily at the La Cana buffet on the beach. It's great to sit and have your feet in the sand. The salads were great. My husband enjoyed the ice cream cones too! We found the buffet food to be rather bland. I tried the coconut white fish one evening and it was cold. Another night there was not a single vegetable available. The continental breakfast at the Dominican beach was our favorite place in the morning. We had made to order omelets almost every day. A shout out to the chef. He always had a smile for us. Because we stayed 10 nights we could go to 5 ala carte restaurants. We had great food at the Oriental restaurant. The salmon was the best I have had in months and my husband had the beef medallions which were equally delicious. We met one of the chefs who also plays at the lobby piano on his break time. We loved listening to him. The snapper at the seafood restaurant was bland but my husband liked the shrimp. The seafood soup was good. The American Rock Star restaurant is really cute. Be sure and share the Iberostar brownie! The Mexican food was okay but not very spicy. My steak at the Steak house was too tough to cut but my husband's was fine . We both ordered the exact same one. Before dinner we wandered to the lobby to have a mojito and listen to the piano player. Great place to people watch. We attended several shows but usually didn't stay til the end. The beach is great for walks and we each had massages for $40. We always found chairs on the beach but many reserved them earlier than we got out there. The pool was sparkling clean as were the beautiful grounds. The grounds keepers were as friendly as the rest of the staff. We walked out to the golf course and around the area one day. It is a great place to explore. We were unaware of when the pool classes were or when the vendors were coming to the hotel. It would have been nice to know about the food tasting in the gardens during Festival. We found them after eating dinner so couldn't enjoy this. Just having a schedule of activities would have been helpful. Perhaps they were on the phone app but we didn't use our phones at all. This was our 3rd Punta Cana vacation.
I stayed 5 nights March 2-7 with friends and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort was clean, the room was comfortable, the food was plentiful and very good. We went to two ala carte restaurants during our stay and enjoyed both of them. (The steak restaurant and the Asian restaurant). The buffets had a nice variety. The weather was perfect also. My only complaint is about the reusable water bottles in the room. While I understand the concept of reducing plastic I found the bottles to be slippery due to the humidity. They are a broken bottle waiting to happen. A reusable thermos type bottle would be better. No worry’s of broken glass. Oh and speaking of broken glass, my husband used a chipped glass that was in the bathroom and the glass chip ended in his mouth! Luckily he did not swallow it. I think the reusable plastic cups used at the pool bars would be better.
Lovely get away week - great resort
The resort was very good. Food was the same every day at the buffet- very tasteless - no vegetarian choices - had to live on the same pizza and pasta every day. Even the desserts were dry, tasteless and bland. Restaurants - tried the Oriental and Mexican - found nothing different than the buffet. Used the workout center every day - well equipped but very cramped with the equipment. Spa was ok, no seating to sit in the hot tub - massages overpriced, had 2 massages - both times Erika was my masseuse and was very good. Shows were ok - seen better shows at other resorts - Shoutout to Mr. Kool who was cheering everyone to participate and dance. Employees were very smiling and cheerful all thru the 6 days we were there - special shoutout to Ms. Sofia at the star prestige club lounge who checked us in with a smile and constantly checked on our vacation throughout our stay also the lady with short hair (do not know the name) in the lounge who fixed our drinks and coffee with soy milk each morning. Our room keeper who made big towel cake decorations and brought me flowers on my birthday and snapped a picture of me with them - made me feel special. One thing that Iberostar should do is create separate smoking areas - we were constantly trying to find areas with no one smoking, just to have to move again because someone just started smoking. I am very allergic to smoking and secondhand smoke - this was a constant hassle for us in the sitting areas, eating areas and evening shows.
Resort was very similar to other Iberostar resorts, our room was good, maid service great, any person we dealt with was very good, Maria at the pool was super, lots of room and chairs at the pool. The food however was hit and miss, we had reservations at the French restaurant for our romantic dinner, it was not very good, all courses were bland and tasteless, we went to the Japanese restaurant and everything there was great, we really enjoyed it, the buffet was ok but not very much changed from day to day, but an ok holiday overall was ok
