Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
· The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
· In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Spring Break Groups Policy - Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

Having returned to the hotel for our eighth visit ,stay from the 6th-18th March 2020 this hotel is everything we could ask for. We had stayed at variuos Sandels and Beaches resorts along with Heritage resorts . This hotel is perfect for ourselves. The most important people that make the difference is the stay and the way they look after you . Special mention to Daniel at the lobby bar always knows your drink and name and always has a nice word ans smile. Victor top concierge and a top man as well known him for over eight years . The maid service also deserve a mention sorry dont know her name but our room was cleaned everyday and was spotless. The guys at the golf course where so nice and looked after me and made our party feel special. The hotel has everything great places to eat ,food is impeccable at the Ala carte restaurants, buffet at lunch time always has plenty to choose from, breakfast has everything you could ask for and always served with a smile and a chat. The room we stayed in was 7022 could not find a fault ,beach was spotless , plenty of sunbeds at both beech and pools . Bar staff and the pool where fantastic again always smiling and nothing any trouble for them to do. Lobby bar has entertainment at night which is very good. Hotel is spotless. We traveled as a party of six adults . I must thank everyone at the hotel for making this another memorable holiday ,we are already booking again for next year. Thanks Again
A Dream Come True
This resort is everything it claims to be and more. Pure paradise. This is my second time staying here and it will not be my last. The food, the drinks, the amenities, the staff all were superb. I want to recognize my concierge Denisee, my butler, Fernando, my Star Friend Orlando and especially Aaron GIGiGi. Thank you Iberostar and hope to see you again very soon!
Give it a second chance
I spent 6 nights at the Grand from March 18 to March 24. I was pick up at the Cancun Airport by Amstar ( very good company and would recommend them) and dropped off at the Grand. At reception I upgraded to superior ocean front for less than half the cost. I was greeted by my butler Marcelo who stock my mini bar the way I wanted it. I was planning to have dinner at the buffet, but it was closed due to the virus and only 20 occupancy at the hotel. I ate at the Caribbean gill and was able to get a reservation. It was not a good meal at all my ribeye steak was good the way I want it but half of it was like eating a shoe and no lobster to be found. Service was also very spotty. The resort seemed dysfunctional . This was not a good way to start an expensive vacation. The next morning I spoke with Marcelo and Daniel and advised them of my dissatisfaction. They told me they would fix my issues. The next day during lunch at the buffet. Things started to turn around. This was a very good lunch (beef Osso Buco). Then Public relations manager Laura Faviel came and sat down to discuss my dissatisfaction. Advised Laura that I had stayed at the Grand in Jamaica and it was not run like this resort. Laura was very understand and professional. She said she would get back to me. The rest of my time at the Grand was getting better day by day. I was able to get lobster twice at the Japanese and Toni’s both excellent diners. On March 21 we were advised that the Grand will be shutting down at noon on Sunday and that we would be transferred to Mayan resort. This was not a good notice to read as I paid for an upgrade and was going to a lower hotel. When sitting on the beach Laura come over and started talking to me about my stay I advise that things were getting better up until now. I was given 6 nights free for a future stay by Laura and upper management which I thought was a very classy thing to do by Iberostar. The beach, poos and landscaping are just beautiful along with the rooms. But want stands out most is the people who work there with pride and professionalism. I would like to thank Daniel (Butler), Carolina & Angélica (Concierges) for their good service and caring. I will be coming back next year to give the Grand a second chance because of employees like Marcelo and of course manager Laura who went beyond a above to make things right for me. Iberostar should not loose these two employees never met anyone like them in my travels. Thank you both
Beautiful Place! Wonderful Staff!
This was our third stay at the Grand. We never seem to get enoughof the view, the surroundings or the staff. I will not name names because I know I will forget someone. All the staff are GREAT! Thank you all for the great service, great food and for all the times you go the extra mile to make our time there relaxing and fun.
First class accommodation
We visited the Grand Paraiso during the recent coronavirus pandemic. The staff had prepared and provided very good preventive measures. They also continued to attend to our comfort and enjoyment of the resort despite the looming crisis. We were the last guests to leave as the hotel closed and were afforded excellent attention up to our departure.
