Great Resort - we love it

We visit Divi each year and love it. We are considering buying a timeshare. It is in Divi Village, unit 6303. We think it has a view of the beach/ocean but we would like to confirm this. Is it possible for Divi or a guest to send us a picture of the view from 6303? This would be appreciated, if a picture is not possible, can Divi management please confirm that this unit has a view of the beach/ocean. Kind regards. Don and Andrea

    Really wonderful and relaxing

This is a favorite beach resort. Over the past year they have done remolding and updating to the front lobby and some public areas. They are beautiful. They have added lovely picnic areas that are cleaned daily. They have BBQ units and picnic tables. Every time I go restaurants on the property have been updated and menus changed. The beach area is clean and lovely. I see the same staff members every time I visit. They are welcoming and genuinely happy to see you. The casino is walking distance. I have been going to this resort for over 20 years and every visit has been a positive experience. They have four pools and a lovely golf course. This resort is perfect for a family gathering as there is something for everyone.

Nice Resort - Room was okay

The resort and Aruba are beautiful! The beach area near the resort was absolutely gorgeous!! The restaurants near by were very good, and the golf course was spectacular!! It was nice to have a big gym to workout at every morning right across the street with an ocean view!! The room at our resort though could have been alot better. We weren't happy we were in, I am assuming, was one of the older buildings (because we weren't owners and exchanged our points). The room was clean but we were on the 3rd floor with no elevator! Our room wasn't cleaned very regularly and we had to call down regularly for towels and toilet paper. We didn't have in-suite laundry and the laundry machines were really crappy and got our clothes dirtier after I washed them. Overall we would go back to Aruba but would try to stay at another resort if we had a choice.

Great stay even with the rainy weather

I stayed at the Divi Golf over Christmas break. It was a very large resort with the rooms divided among different buildings. The rooms were a decent size and were eqiped with a full kitchen and living room along with a balcony where my room overlooked the golf course and lake. The pool area was very close to my room which was very nice. We did not stay all inclusive however the food was very good. All the buildings also had jacuzzis and lounge chairs on the roof. The only thing that was wrong with this resort was that it was very far from the beach so we did not go once during our stay. Along with this you would also have to go to the hotel across the street to use the gym. All in all this hotel was a very nice place to stay and the service made up for the few cons it had.

    Beautiful Turquoise Paradise

I don’t even know where to begin about how amazing this trip was! The hotel staff is always super friendly and nice whenever they see you. Stay at Divi Golf so you get access to the other Divi properties. Also, no need to rent a car while staying at these properties. They have shuttles that will pick you up at your room and take you where ever you would like to go. I loved this. They also have rental cars available and taxi service. Taxi’s are $10 per destination stop. I did the all inclusive package which gave me access to 13 restaurants and bars. Make reservations three days in advance for the good ones. Sea breeze and Mulligans were my favorite. Pack snacks like granola bars in your checked bag so you don’t have to leave your spot to get food. Get to the beach early to reserve your chairs under the huts. If not, you will be in the sun all day. Same with the pool, people are up at 5am reserving their chairs all day. It sucks if you want to go late to the pool because there will be no chairs available for you when you arrive. Bring cash for tips. The ATMs charge a $5-10 processing fee. Make friends with the servers and they will take you places on their off day so you can see the island. The downtown area is near the port and has all the souvenir shops. Don’t take the wind for granted. I did and as soon as you leave the airport you feel the constant 15mph wind. Get to customs 4 hours early. As you have to clear Aruba and US customs. All the lines are extremely long with all the check points. Bring chair clips or clothes pins to hold your towel to your chair. Chair clips at the gift shop are $11. The Infinity pool was my favorite. Super spacious and you can bring pool floats to float around the pool all day. Call the maintenance guys and they will blow them up for you. This was my first time to Aruba and is my new vacation spot. The beaches and turquoise are mesmerizing. I can’t wait to come back. It’s 82 degrees year round and is out of the hurricane belt. I stayed in a Golf Villa one bedroom. The room was nice with a living room, dining table, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, master bedroom, and balcony. Keep in mind there is no elevator access. So I hope you are in good shape if you are on the third floor. The only ones that have elevator access are the hotel and timeshare units. Overall it was a great trip and I cannot wait to go back. I miss the turquoise waters already!
