    They treated us like family!

    We became members of Iberostar in September. Since then we have been back 4 times!! The Star Prestige concierge staff is incredible! They made sure every moment of our stay was nothing short of perfect!!! The entertainment staff was a ton of fun…..especially Fernanda!!!!! One of the restaurant managers Lorena went above and beyond for us. There is a new sommelier named Ariel that works at all of the restaurants. He was super knowledgeable with the wines and incredibly kind! Albin & Williams made sure our poolside experiences were perfect! Alejandro in the spa was fantastic!! We can’t wait to come back and reunite with all of you again!!!

    Good Coral Level experience - main hotel not so !!

    Recently, I returned from a delightful 10-night stay at the Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Cancun, which offered a thoroughly enjoyable hotel experience. Positives: The hotel shines with cleanliness, and the modernity of the rooms is a highlight. My 3rd-floor accommodation offered a pleasing sea view, hinting that higher floors might present even more spectacular vistas. The air conditioning operates quietly, complementing the room's comfort with an air-purifier for enhanced air quality. The pool area maintains an immaculate condition, reflecting the hotel's commitment to cleanliness. The evening entertainment, managed by a dedicated staff, was satisfactory, ensuring enjoyable nights. The Coral Level staff exuded warmth and efficiency, providing swift poolside service. Despite the hotel's full occupancy, the bar service was prompt, ensuring no lengthy waits. Negatives: A limitation of the Coral Level section is its lack of certain amenities (e.g., additional restaurants, gym), necessitating visits to the main hotel. This transition feels akin to moving from business class to economy in an airline context. The quality of service and dining in the main hotel areas varied: The bar and waitress service was average. The main buffet ranged from medium to poor in quality. At the Italian Restaurant, an initial wait of 1.5 hours for seating improved upon my second visit after learning Coral Level members could bypass the queue—a detail better communicated at check-in. The dining experience here ranged from medium to good. The Mexican restaurant offered basic but acceptable fare. The American Restaurant disappointed, with a chicken bone found in a salad during one visit, and a mix-up in meal service timing during another. Despite these drawbacks, my experiences at other resorts, such as Moon Palace (Cancun) and Majestic Colonial (Punta Cana), allow me to place the Coral Level experience in high regard, primarily due to the exceptional staff. The positive aspects significantly outweigh the negatives, contributing to a memorable stay.

    Family vacation

    This is my 3rd trip to Iberostar Selection Cancun. We actually stayed in the coral level but spent most of our time at the Selection as most of the family had children and could not stay at the Coral. We had an amazing time from our check in at Star Prestige with Ixjta. She went over above to make sure our every desire was handled for our entire stay. She is a true asset to the Iberostar Staff. Stefania, our Ambassador checked with us every day to see if anything was needed. We love Israel at the Star Prestige beach bar. He has been there since our 1st trip and he continues to be a blessing by the way he serves everyone. I must also mention Edgar. He was our waiter at the buffet who took care of all 16 of us 2 xs a day. What an asset Edgar is. I highly recommend this resort as their staff excels in every way.

    Great view!

    The resort is great! Their services, food, views are excellent. Rooms and restaurants are super clean as well. The bartender at the swim up bar are amazing, especially Santiago, super friendly! However, the bartender at the lobby Ima, wasn't too nice. She never smiles, giving us attitude, pretty rude to be honest. She made us feel unwelcome. I would give this resort 5 stars if it wasn't for her.

    Best all inclusive stay ever!!

    We just returned from a 5 day stay at this beautiful hotel. We have traveled to many all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, and can honestly say that this was by far the best experience we have ever had. The staff are the nicest people we have every encountered and make this hotel 5 stars. Laura who was at the towel station, Teresita who brought us food and drinks, Fernanda in activities, Saby, Jorge, Karina, Lois, Alex, and so many more. The staff was so attentive and always smiling, no matter what we asked for, they made sure we received it. We can not say enough good things about every employee at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily with "special" favors left in our room everyday. The food and drinks were probably the best we have ever had at an all inclusive resort. The theme nights were especially fun. We loved the Mexican and Brazilian food and accompanying shows. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and can not wait to return with our family in the very near future.
