Don't go there!

Never felt like an outsider when traveling and I've been to mexico over 5 times. No instructions or information about how the resort operated (pool times, eating times reservations for restaurants- nothing explained) when we checked in.They immediately went into a sales pitch. We waited over an hour for our luggage to come to our room (I would have rather taken it up myself). My fiance had to call down and then we finally got it. It was very obvious this resort caters to the locals and was noticed by more than just us. I waited an hour and a half for a drink while the bartender kept skipping over me and did not get a drink until a new bartender was brought in and someone else had to ask for my drinks. This happened again on another day too- same bartender was cleaning, looked at me and turned around and helped everyone else along the bar before helping me. No wristbands which meant many locals came everyday to use the pool, free drinks and free food. You wont see the same people during the day as you will at night when it's time to eat at the restaurants and provide your room number and last name. Tons and tons of kids- the infinity pool is great and should be the adults only pool. 2nd day we were here our stuff was stolen off of our chairs- going forward we kept having to stay close to our seats to ensure nothing was taken. Also the infinity pool has the bar in it but security stops you from drinking in the pool. If you want a seat at the pool you better be up by 7am which wasnt a problem for us, but if you leave stuff without actually being there people will move your stuff and take your seats. They will also take the umbrellas by your chair and move them to theirs...there's not much they wont do to get seats or umbrellas. The bathrooms by the pool are disgusting!! Instead of flushing used toilet paper they throw them in the garbage cans so you can imagine... Restaurants were okay. We tried the grill for italian and the steak night - they were both okay. We tried the Asian place and after waiting 40 minutes we were seated and 15 minutes after that still had not been waited on- we left. The buffet is okay. There clearly is not enough staff to operate 3 restaurants at the same time. Our room was conjoining (not by choice) and you can literally hear everything- from people talking, doors shutting and phones ringing! Needless to say if you're a local, this is the resort for you, if not go ahead and do yourself a huge favor and pick somewhere else because you're not welcome there!

Anniversary vacation

We stayed at the Reflect Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta the last week of June. It is an all - inclusive resort & no wrist bands were needed. The resort was actually very pretty and we were greeted in the lobby by a wonderful ocean breeze. We paid extra for the Deluxe Tropical View, and were very pleased with our room. It was large, with a nice sitting area & a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The room next to us (alternating rooms) had a view of the resort next door's rooms; so definitely worth the few extra dollars for a larger room with a much better view!!. The room was clean & the shower was fabulous! The provided toiletries were odd; soap bars were small most days, different packaging for body wash & shampoo - but whatever. Because it is a smaller resort than what we were used to (Cancun), it didn't seem to have many activities. They do an activity each evening (from live music to dance shows, karaoke & such), a movie (sometimes outdoors) and activities for kids. Be prepared, there are a lot of kids —. LOTS OF KIDS!!!! So if you are looking for quiet or adults only, this is NOT the place. There are only 3 restaurants. One is a buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One is an Asian restaurant, with Chinese food on the menu & a sushi bar. The other alternates between Mexican, Italian & a steakhouse and is only open for dinner. The buffet was your typical buffet. The best thing was the fresh fruit. Some meals they had guacamole & that was good. Some meals they had grilled chicken & beef so you could make tacos & that was good, too. The buffet overlooks the ocean. They have indoor & outdoor seating. We sat outside for all meals here. The good: nice ocean view, ocean breeze. The bad: birds - be watchful, they may try to take your food, and the chairs are stained with bird droppings. But the actual restaurants were very nice! We ate at the Asian restaurant, Ayami, on 3 evenings. The food was probably some of the best Chinese we've eaten! No heavy greasy taste! Our server, Juan, prepared a special dessert for us, to celebrate our anniversary. Juan, Jazmin & Jacqueline, the manager, helped make our dinners there such a nice experience! The Grill (the alternating restaurant) had good food, also. Mexican evening had a nice salsa, guacamole, salad & dessert bar. Italian night had a nice salad bar, & the menu items were delicious. Large amount of food. Steakhouse night was good, too. My husband & I both had the steak, but with a different sauce. The staff here were all nice, too! I recommend eating dinner early, to avoid lines. Dinner service begins at 6 & we never had an issue with long lines. The resort also has food (buffet style) at the two pool bars. It looked like burgers, hot dogs & nachos (cheese sauce), but we didn't try any. We did try the drinks from the pool bars, my new favorite is a mojito! Lots of fresh mint & lime! The resort has three pools: a family pool, an adults only & the infinity-edge pool. The family & adults-only are right next to each other. We did not use those pools, as seating seemed to be limited, as well as shade/umbrellas. Plus, the family pool (kids) is right next to the adults-only!?!? The infinity-edge pool is next to the ocean. Still lots of kids, but a pretty ocean view. I recommend staking your claim early, as the lounge chairs fill up quickly! Coco Cafe is the resort's coffee shop. Gabriela & Josefina were two lovely women working there. This little coffee shop can get busy at times, but these 2 ladies always had a smile on their face & were so friendly! We loved getting the cappuccinos a few times a day. One gentleman, Bernardo Mora, seemed to be in many places, doing many different jobs. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face & friendly words to share! We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff! We were greeted with smiles every where. And while some went over & above our expectations (see the above named individuals!), all were friendly & helpful! These employees are such hard workers! This was our first visit to Nuevo Vallarta / Puerto Vallarta. It is a beautiful area & I hope we visit again!

worst purchase ever

I have been traveling through your agency for the last 15 years, but ,this time, I experienced the worst service I had ever experienced, specially the food and facilities in the restaurant, and the food.A 2 star motel could be better than this one.

Very disappointed

On arrival person met us at airport said take us to hotel he was from cheap Caribbean. He wasn’t tried to sell us time share. Get to our hotel we were so tired they wanted us to sign up for presentation. They didn’t tell us or show us where anything was. Restaurants are closed that we’re supposed to have choices for different food. No ice in hotel for cold drinks. Then they give us a room I didn’t book and said they didn’t have the one we did book. Can’t wait to go home.
