Nice Resort

The staff was great!! Our room was clean and the maid did a great job every day. The bed was the most comfortable of any resort that we have stayed at for 23 years. The pool was an infinity pool that was warm and emaculantly clean. The waiters kept your glass full at the pool area ALL day!!!! The best relaxing Vacation in years. Thank you....

Works for me

We traveled to Puerta Villarta on November 23, 2017 for my husbands 81st birthday, no worries, no cares. They were waiting to get us to the hotel, at 1st it seemed chaotic, but it wasn't, it was just fast paced, but organized. Arriving at the Hilton hotel, check-in was easy, shortly after arriving my husband received a Birthday Brownie (that was a nice touch) Our room was the upgrade with an ocean view, that we'd paid for. The grounds were immaculate, staff spoke when they saw us, they were always cleaning, and very friendly. The staff anticipated, and met our every need. With my husband being a man of a particular age, it was nice to see someone was always quick to help him. A special Thanks to the restaurant manager IVAN LEON. He took such good care, that whenever my husband walked into the restaurant he knew IVAN LEON would be there to help. Also special thanks to ALBERTO and ALEJANDRA for anticipating our dining needs, and making sure we were ok. The buffet was so nice, that we never thought of going to the other dining areas. When booking our excursions, GLORIA (think that's her name) made sure I was comfortable with my choices, and that all my questions were answered. Now, for THE CONS: 2 small complaints, the bed in our room #646 did have a big sink in the mattress, and it was impossible to enjoy a sunny day on the beach, because there were So many vendors. That's not much to complain about (lol). Our Thanksgiving getaway was so enjoyable, hubby wants to go again.

Great Vacation Place

The resort was very good, not too crowded and had a relaxed atmosphere except for our rooms with the view of the construction, not to mention, the noise and tiny toilet space that you can’t close the door. Excellent service by the F&B staff, most especially, Andres at the lobby bar, Javier and Alberto at Seafire restaurant. Make sure to look for them because they will go far and beyond your expectations! The only negative feedback overall was the flight. Going there was a short trip or less than 3 hrs. Coming back, we didn’t realize we had to go around the world on a 10 hr flight. That was horrible and waste of time!

Great trip with only a couple issues

When we first arrived the first thing we saw was construction that was going on at the hotel. Once we pulled up we were greeted by a few hotel employees, one of which brought our bags to out room. He even insisted we grab a drink at the bar and waited for us to get our drinks before showing us the room. We found out that they upgraded us to a suite and we got two gorgeous balconies overlooking the ocean. The top floor balcony had a jacuzzi and it was nice at night. We came a week before the peak season started and the hotel had a lot of vacant rooms - a plus in my book! The rooftop bar is gorgeous and the sushi was made-to-order. It was tempting not to eat it every day. The buffet isn't bad, though I wished there were more gluten free options. It's basically stereotypical american food with some Mexican sides mixed in. When we arrived we were told that there were three restaurants besides the buffet: a French restaurant, Mexican restaurant, and Brazillian restaurant. When we checked in, they gave us a printout of the hours/days that they restaurants were open. The Mexican place was delicious and I have nothing but good things to say. I was confused by the French place because there wasn't any french food on the menu but it was still excellent. Unfortunately, we left before dessert because we asked the waiter three times for a menu but he never came back with one. He had forgotten about us and we weren't happy. We never got to try the Brazillian place because when we tried to make a reservation, they told us they weren't open even though it said they were on the paper we got. I was bummed out because I really wanted to try it. Besides the food, the hotel was clean despite some much-needed touchups, especially the white paint on the interior and the outdated doors to the rooms. I wasn't thrilled that they were doing construction in the middle of the day, though. One of the days there were people replacing the tiles around the pool and it got a little loud. They were also doing something on the roof over the buffet. It looked like they might be putting up solar panels. I don't normally go to resorts so maybe early November is their off-season and they were getting some work done? Overall, we still had a great time. The liquor selection was better than expected and it was the most romantic vacation we've taken.

Hotel Description

Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort: Luxury Made Easy

It's time to say "adios" to the hassles of the everyday and venture to a place where "complicated" isn't in the vocabulary. The Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort is an all-inclusive, contemporary haven where ease meets luxury. Its majestic views of Banderas Bay will make all your worries disappear. And just outside the walls of this modern bliss lies the best of Puerto Vallarta - shops, restaurants, bars and stunning vistas of the ocean.

Longing for that sun-kissed glow? The Hilton Puerto Vallarta offers 2 sparkling pools, including an infinity pool with a picturesque view of the bay and mountains. If lounging on the sand is more your thing, Bandera's Bay gives you the perfect setting. Basking in the warm Puerto Vallarta sun can surely work up a thirst, but don't be surprised how easy it is to get a drink in your hand. Conveniently, located pool and beachside, the Beach Snack-Bar ensures you won't have to stray too far.

After a few hours spent indulging in the pristine water, drop the kiddos off at the Kid's Club where their imaginations can run free. Then, grab your honey and mosey over to the on-site spa. If you're looking for a unique experience, try the Flotarium where you'll find the true meaning of relaxation!

The Hilton is always looking for ways to innovate and improve. In April 2018, the new Hacienda at Hilton section will open, offering new restaurants, bars and areas to relax. The Hacienda section will reflect Mexican culture with its decor, outdoor terraces and culinary experience. All this complements the resort's gorgeous beachfront with views of Bandera's Bay as the backdrop.
