Best vacation in a very long time.
Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Mini bar filled daily with out asking.
Dining options where great for the individual restaurants but I can not really speak about the buffet as we ate at the individual restaurants. The Italian Restaurant was my favorite for Dinner, I had the Scampi and would highly recommended them. The Grill was my favorite for lunch - must have is the salsa for two it is made with shrimp and scallops. I was able to get a reservation at the Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you, the show was great and the food was good next time would choice to just eat in the restaurant and order off of the menu.
We hung out at the adult pool mostly and in the private cabana, the waitress and bartenders are great here.
The beach was beautiful and we walked it daily. There was a few vendors on the beach but they respected a no thank you or not interested, this made it even better. We even walked into San Jose and felt very safe.
We are planning another trip to Krystal next year, can't wait !!!
Me and my husband stayed there last week. Food was great (I only ate the buffet for breakfast). Service at the dinner was slow (but that seems to be the norm for Mexico and the Caribbean.
We stayed in the Altitude suite, I would recommend upgrading if you stay here. That suite offers you more amenities and is closer to pools and resteraunts as well as an AMAZING view, everyone who was there wanted to be in that tower and regretted not upgrading. Drinks were great and bartenders were friendly except for some of the ones in the lobby. They seemed kind of crabby and annoyed to be there. The only main issue I had was trying to get a pool chair, if you didn't reserve one EARLY in the morning you were out of luck. Most of the time people just used them for somewhere to put there stuff and never sat in them or reserved them for a large group even if they never came. Over all very modern and clean resort, I thought it was a lot of bang for your buck and I never had a bad meal there.
Great place to stay. Make sure and get a room away from the highway. We were first in a room that all you could hear was the highway, we went down and they gave us a new room with the sounds of the ocean. Much better. Also, wanted a King but got 2 double beds.
It was excellent for the $$$ But there could have been a few better things; the bath did not have enough counter/drawer space. Had to ask the maid for regular coffee every day.
The food in buffet was not warm/hot; a few things were. The wait staff was a little slow bringing our drinks.
