Really enjoyed it but not the best for a vegan.

Loved it here. The staff is SO nice. The bartender Alfonso at the swim up bar makes great drinks and is super friendly. All the staff was amazing. The grounds were clean and rooms were nice. The food was pretty good. Not great. The buffet was the best part for my husband but being a vegan it was pretty difficult to find food for myself here. I would like more options like black beans and rice and things like that which are filling and simple. I could mostly only get salads, fries and veggies. I made it work but I would love to have more beans and rice type options. Their guac was great tho and I loved being able to get snack like that anytime at the pool. You cannot swim here in the beach so if you're looking for that you'd be better off somewhere like cancun but it's very safe feeling here. We went into town (make sure you take the bus as it's cheaper and perfectly safe. Taxi is 40$ one way and bus is 2.50$). Cabo cantina in town was a nice little place to eat and have a beer at. Overall loved our stay here and would definitely consider coming back.

Really enjoyed it but not the best for a vegan. Really enjoyed it but not the best for a vegan.

Love this place!

Beautiful place, great views, amazing service, good restaurants. bar tenders were great. We had an ocean front room with a beautiful view of sunset, just done perfectly right. Highly recommend it.

Best Deal!

Overall, had a great tim celebrating my 30th with some friends!! The resort was wonderful. Ocean view from our room, 3 pools and one with a swim up bar. All the staff was quick and super friendly. I’ve never done an all-inclusive Trip before and I have to say I’m hooked - best way to go! The only negative things I have to say about the resort is that: 1) There were a decent amount of ants almost everywhere - in our room, at the restuants, etc. 2) they won’t give you a room key until you listen to the “VIP services” - they will try everything to get you to go to a 90-min presentation about timeshares. Other than those two things, it was a great experience, would definitely go back!

Definitely going back to this place!

What a great place to visit. No place is perfect, and they have some areas they can improve on but overall this is one of the better all inclusives I have been to, and we've been to a few. I cannot fathom the negative reviews I have read, I really think this place is great!! So here goes... Directly after check in instead of giving me my key they directed me to the timeshare person, so that's automatically a negative for me. If I wanted timeshare I would book it to take the tour. They were however not as high pressure as I have experienced at other resorts though, so just be aware it happens and be prepared to say "No Gracias" if you are not interested. Service overall was pretty good but some days around the pool it was difficult to get noticed for a drink. Other days they were right on top of it so a bit hit or miss but again, overall very good. I marked down one for pools because the adult pool was freezing and appeared to have filter issues as there were dead bugs everywhere. The service around the adult pool though was perfect every time we tried. The infinity pool was heavenly though and I highly recommend it. But service here was spotty... Dining options. We went during a remodel I believe so several restaurants were closed and some evenings there were only two dining choices. That said, Ayami, the hibachi grill was spectacular and the sushi at Take a Bite (same restaurant but Hibachi requires reservations) was to die for. Cannot recommend the Italian offering, they under cooked the pasta. The Mexican restaurant was awesome as well. The buffet was great for breakfast and was never opened at night. The sports bar had no food and was loud but in all we had fun and the bartender was super sweet. Surfos Tacos by the pool was were we ate lunch most days, the fish tacos are great the rest tolerable stadium type foods, pizza, hot dogs and cheeseburgers...all okay nothing spectacular We booked the garden swimout room and we loved it. Cleaned daily very well and the pool outside was great. Be aware there are no chairs though so bring a raft or buy one. There are stairs in the pool you can sit on but you are either in two inches of water or sitting up to your shoulders so that is why I mention it. We highly recommend this resort and plan to return next year!
