I loved it.. for the most part.

So everything was great especially the customer service! The drinks were strong. Everywhere on the resort smelled nice. However, when it came to the water activities listed on the site there were some discrepancies. You either better know how to swim or have a license to drive the catamaran and the kayak. If you wanted someone else to help you then you had to pay extra. And to finally book these water sports, it wasn’t until the last day because we kept getting the run around which I absolutely hated. Also, we were asked if we wanted a tour to see the resort and of course we said yes because this resort was pretty big. However what we didn’t know is they were actually trying to sell us a membership.. I did not like that. I wasted 5 hours of my trip because they couldn’t take no for an answer. Lastly, the carts that picks you up was either never on time or never came out at all. I wish they had a better communication system set in place. Because all you did was call and just come down. However if it took you 3 min to come down but a cart was around the corner and came to you in a minute, they’d leave. I hated that. Taking the boat was a lot better cause they came every ten minutes. Other than that, my boyfriend and I had a pretty good time. Food was tasty, drinks were strong, employees were all nice, room service was efficient, place was beautiful and nonetheless enjoyed the different events that were going on.

This property costs too much for what you get.

I have now been to Mexico 6 times over the last 8 years. We have stayed at several chains in the area. We were drawn to this as it was brand new (opened in Nov of 2018), but our experience was absolutely average at best.We stayed in a 2-story loft suite and the room was wonderful. But it came at a cost. There are literally dozens of resorts that have premium amenities at less cost than this place. There were six of us and we all agreed we wouldn't come back. There was nothing that was bad or broken, it was just a matter of excessive cost. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the whole 10 days should have been several hundred dollars cheaper. Based on what we had paid, I was expecting more when we went.

Great new resort!

This resort is beautiful, very new and clean. The beach was nice, however, there was seaweed that made walking on the beach a little difficult. Because it is so new, occupancy was low...which we really liked. However, not all of the restaurants were open, which was fine but there wasn't a schedule to let us know what would be open and when. Also, there wasn't a reliable way to know what activities were happening and when. The food was ok at the buffet, much better at the restaurants. We never had to wait for a table and they did a very good job accommodating our large party of 12. Overall, I would say great hotel for the value.
