Worth the money.

If you are looking for 5 star service this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great time at a good value this place is perfect. The restaurants had the best food. Service was perfect. We wanted for nothing .We went in October so nothing was overcrowded . Plenty of room on the beach. We thought having children around would be a problem. We thought wrong. There was an adult only pool and other places we could go to get away from kids. And in the restaurants and other places where there children were all were well behaved and never caused a problem. The evening entertainment was designed for kids and adults alike. And very entertaining it was. On our last night we were given a card for breakfast in bed( It was our anniversary ) but the card said we needed to give 48 hr notice ( we received it our last night ) well after talking to the front desk it was no problem and we had our breakfast in bed. The only thing I would change is so of the furniture. The room bed was hard and the chairs in most restaurants were very uncomfortable.

DEAL OF MISFORTUNE

We did the 7 night deal of fortune in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We got the resort Sunscape Splash. First of all let me warn you, DO NOT stay here during heroes weekend. They allow locals in at a very cheap price for 3 of our 7 days. On Sunday morning i didn’t get to eat breakfast because there was literally nowhere for my wife and i to sit. Also, during these 3 days the Buffett was literally picked through and they had the most plain foods available. They only have one good restaurant and that was portifino. To top all of that off my wife had a bracelet stolen OUT OF OUR ROOM, where only employees could get into. We reported it to their “security” but were basically told they would look into it but we left the next day to go home. We are so disappointed we spent so much money on this trip for our anniversary. The pools and the beach are beautiful and the people of Jamaica were very friendly but this resort is awful. They even told us it was a 3 starand we were GUARANTEED a 4 star resort. I feel like cheap carribean should give take this resort if their list because it is NOT AT ALL a 4 star. I will let all of my military colleagues know to never book through this deal and cheap carribean. I’m so disappointed and let down.

Jamaica

This was the most unpleasant and uncomfortable vacation i have ever taken. I paid for a resort view. Please see rhe picture of my biewni upload. I also paid for an adult only resort which is what was advertised on cheapcaribbean.com which was also misleading. Once i was at the check in desk i was told to get a better view i wold have to pay and extra $200 and the marketing team memeber was constantly harrassing me to cisit the adult only resort so i can buy a membership package. My vacation was not relaxing and enjoyable at all. The food was horrible the buffet was dirty and food was u organized. If this was in the USA the FDA would have shut it down. The waiters and waitresses were very unkind and rude. For an all inclusive resort the restaurants closes at 9:30. I am very displeased for soend alot of money to have and ejoyable vacation only to be disappointed. I will not be using this site for any of my travels going forward. Please do not contact me or try to offer me anything. I am not interested. Take a look at my resort view i paid thousands of dollars for.

Meh

We chose the ROH offer, which sent us to Sunscape Resort in Montego Bay. The greeting was warm and welcoming. But after that, I can tell you that if we hadn't upgraded for additional money (to be a part of the SunClub program), we would've been more disappointed then we were. The food in the buffet was plentiful; however, bland as can be. Truly, not a food snob at all, but it was simply bland. There are not many restaurant options (unless you're a member of SunClub) that are consistently open. We didn't have shampoo for the first 3 days, we had no turn down service (even though it was part of the "package," and our fridge was no restocked until the 3rd day after calling FOUR times. This may not seem like a big deal, but traveling with two small children, we PAID extra for the additional comfort, so they were expected. They did have evening shows each night which were fun to watch! The beach is VERY rocky at the resort - bring snorkeling gear and water shoes.
