Worst staff ever

By far, the worst all-inclusive deal I have ever experienced. No customer service, no manners, and no respect from any of the staff.

Fair Place

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Meals where always late and the staff outside of the managers did not do anything to make you feel welcome. When asking for a drink or towel or anything else it was as if we were inconveniencing them.

Would not visit again!

CONS! To start off, when we arrived at check in, the man that was checking me in started our check in process and informed me that they had no sea view room, but he was going to do something “special” for us. I was immediately on guard at that point. Because I had booked the romance villa “with sea views”! I told him this and he said...no it doesn’t include sea views, which I knew it did, since I did a ton of research! He then lowered his voice saying....its normally an extra $45 a night for that view, but for us, he would only make us pay a total of $100 in cash of course! I was so mad at this point, I told him I would NOT be paying anything extra and to just put us in a room and I would be calling cheap Caribbean to find out what was happening! I guess since he knew I wasn’t paying him anything extra and I was so mad, he then said...oh since you booked with the CC I will just give you a sea view room....I BOOKED THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! But I guess he figured since he couldn’t CON me that he better give me the room I’m supposed to have! So we get to the room and it was ok. But the bed was the hardest thing I have EVER slept on! We would wake up in pain every morning! The employees were not friendly at all! Most of them acted as if they did not want to help you. The golf cart drives were reckless at times and my husband almost fell out of one because the man driving was apparently in a hurry! The place is massive so there is ALOT of walking to anything you wanted to get to. PROS! The beach and water were very pretty! We were on the adult only side so it was very peaceful. The main pool is massive and a good place to socialize. The food was very good. Although I’m not an adventurous eater, my husband is and he loved the variety! They do not water down there drinks which is rare for a resort. We did meet 2 very nice employees! Marvin is a bartender and he was fun to be around, and seems like a great guy! And Maurice is one of the chefs in the buffet, he was so nice and eager to make you anything you wanted! Both great guys! My check in date was Jan 13 2019 at about 5pm. I would not recommend this resort!

Best vacation yet!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton! The resort is stunning, the people are wonderful, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and the food was very good. There is a lot to do there in the evenings and I love that you didn’t need reservations at the a la carts restaurants and that there was no limit to how many you could eat at! The Jerk Hut next to the beach was amazing and the rum punch was awesome (and dangerous!)! I would go back in a heartbeat!

What's to Love

It's all-inclusive, all-beautiful and all you'd ever want in a beach vacay. Swoon.

The 86,000 sq. ft. infinity pool with four Jacuzzis. You could hang here the entire time & be just fine.

Reservations are not required at any of the restaurants.

Modeled after Roman baths, the epic spa's stress-busting massages, Turkish baths & more.

Teeing off at the renowned Tryall Country Club that's just 10 minutes away. Schwing.

Swooning over the panoramic view of the pool and teal ocean from the Blue Lagoon restaurant.

What We'd Change

The resort is built in rugged country, so the man-made beaches are rocky. Even so, the area is beautiful, and with five pools, finding a place to swim is no problem.

Why You Should Go

It's about 40 minutes from the airport - blink and you'll have a chilly drink in your hand.

You can hop on catamarans, kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling & windsurfing 100% FREE.

Volleyball, tennis & aerobics are available for calorie burning. (Dip into the ocean to cool off.)

Dunn's River Falls is not too far away and is a must-splash. Jump in.

Since these are villa-style, three-story buildings, there are no elevators. Better than a stair-climber.

However, if you want to dry off, you can hang at a terrace bar with a 180-degree view of the ocean, a sports bar (open 24 hours), a disco and of course, all the haunts next door at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Bar. Cheers.
