Average in almost every way

The biggest and best attraction of this resort is its beach. Even though it is filled with rocks in certain areas(bring water shoes) It is certainly beautiful. The room was small, but I never spend much time there anyway. There were some issues with the hot water on the first night, not sure if it just resolved itself or if that call to the front desk made a difference. Either way checked 20 mins later and it was fine! On a positive note, the view from the balcony was breathtaking, some tree trimming could have made it better, but still was one of the best experiences. The food was ok, by the 3rd day we noticed the lack of choices of food. The resort could use some variety, but the staff did an excellent job of working with what they had. The specialty restaurant was a joke, buffet food was better. They mentioned having 2 but the seafood restaurant was closed. Overall the staff was great, the views made the entire experience worth it. But the resort needs to invest in some infrastructure updates(water issues, rooms) and adding variety to the menu.

Hidden Gem

Whatttt a beauty.... We went to Haiti for my best friends 30th bday and it was amazing... the resort is about an hour from the airport, the driver from the company Ronald was amazing he was a great driver and made the ride interesting, once we arrived it was breath taking beautiful beaches, the ground is well kept, the rooms were spacious, and the staff friendly, cons ( the staff is def on island time) slow to get requests to the room, but with all that sun and beach what’s the rush, the food was average, could use more variety, and the entertainment was “top notch” def want to go back

overall good

The resort is beautiful, but, you have to drive an hour and a half to get there. The ride is not pleasant, you have to pass through a lot of poverty (if you land in Port Au Prince). When you get to the gate you have to know your room number. The staff are amazing, they are so polite and helpful, but their English is very limited. There are lizards everywhere at night. The doors in the room have a reasonable space on the ground so its easy for lizards to crawl into the room. The rooms are small, but clean. Food is amazing. Beaches are great and pool is awesome. If you are staying in your room and don't want cleaning services they will send someone to do "inventory".

I fell in love with Haiti

It was my first time in Haiti and I have to admit I didn't know what to expect. As soon as we got to the resort all my worries disappeared. The facilities are impeccable, the staff is really friendly, the food is AMAZING and the beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen (and I was born and raised in an island). It's a long drive from the airport to the resort, and I recommend booking the airport transfer directly with them instead of taking a taxi or renting a car, unless you've drove in Haiti before. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. I was only there for 3 nights and was not ready to leave.

What's to Love

Ocean front pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a pool bar (yes!) - plenty of Caribbean cocktails made especially for you.

Quiet resort on one of the prettiest beaches - what a way to unwind and recharge!

Pamper yourself at the spa - a massage with a beach only steps away sounds like a great way to spend the day.

If you want to try scuba, you can give it a whirl in the pool before diving into the deep, blue seas.

What We'd Change

The resort is about an hour from the airport and while the drive seems long, once you get to this little slice of paradise, you'll see why it's worth it!

Why You Should Go

In the midst of a tropical reserve - the lush foliage against the ocean waters will amaze you (and be great as your backdrop for photos!)

You'll be able to mix and mingle with the other guests either at the restaurants, the bars or the disco.

You can explore the ocean on boogie boards, kayaks or catamarans - all available at the resort!

Pick up some tennis tips from the onsite tennis coach.
