Definitely Worth It!!!

This was our 3rd time here and it never disappoints. The resort is always clean. The staff is always friendly. I absolutely recommend doing the Saona Island Excursion. And as always the entertainment staff did an amazing job!!

Loved it & went back once already!

I enjoyed myself immensely! This trip was a girls birthday celebration, our birthdays are one day apart. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and tried new things all around. We received champagne upon arrival and a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite (there were only two of us)! They had things scheduled to do on the beach day & night for entertainment. They will try to approach you for a timeshare presentation, don't waste your precious vacation time, unless you're really interested. The food was great! They offered multiple buffet options nightly regardless of the theme (i.e. Italian, etc), including burgers & fries or another classic nightly - if that's your thing. There is also a snack bar that is almost 24 hours. They have an about 3 a la carte dinner restaurants that require reservations. Make them ASAP upon arrival! I've done two, the Asian place and a la carte outside of the buffet, delicious. The cabanas were great, you have to snag one early in the morning but then you are covered for that day. There was free wi-fi on the beach and in the lobby. Tiping gets you better service for drinks being brought to you but we would just walk over to the bar & tip the bartenders instead. lol We completed an activity, an excursion and rode a moped on the highway to the Hard Rock Hotel.Have cash but be ready to haggle the orginal prices or get overcharged because people assume tourists are rich! (I'm a NYer & a pro but example to come). Paragliding with someoe from the beach, not really my thing but it was awesome! We went on the all day across the island that included the local market (empanadas!), an art store (they will suggest paying the driver the remainder of the price when you're dropped off, say its your last day, this amount is all you have left while counting it in front of them & looking sad then try to leave), a school, a church, souvenir store, horseback riding, zip lining and had a homemade lunch with a farming family after touring their property and another beach before returning home. We did not purchase through the resort, we walked to the right and across the street to the cigar shop and saved about half on the cost (had to give a $20 down payment with the cigar guy to hold our spot but it went to our total of $80 each). We rode in the same official tour vehicle along with others from different resorts but we were the only ones in our group that had zip lining was included! They also provided bottled water and I bought some with me as well! We rode on this guy's moped all the way to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino but could not get in because they would not let him take us, the security wanted us to pay for a cab to go maybe a mile. So he took us back to our hotel and gave him $10 each (but he tried to ask for more!). Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!

Terrible

I was here for hurricane Maria. Before the power went out the hotel threatened to kick us out unless we paid them 200 American dollars a piece. The resort was okay. The food options were limited. But the hotel staff were really terrible.

Hotel Description

Presidential Suites Punta Cana: A Boutique Experience on a Beautiful Beach

Joining the Lifestyle family of resorts is the Presidential Suites Punta Cana, an intimate getaway on gorgeous white sands. The hideaway benefits from the Caribbean atmosphere and rejuvenating climate, making for the quiet vacation you've been looking for. The spacious suites come fully equipped with the comforts of home such as a modern kitchen, a dining room, and ample living space. Coming here will be like hitting the slow-motion button on your life. The hotel is located on Cortecito Beach with shopping and local bars and restaurants right next door!

The 8 multi-story buildings are complemented by 2 free-form pools that casually wind among the buildings and balconies. The modern-looking pools are incredible even at night, when you can kick up your feet and enjoy one of the specialty drinks like the Banana Mama. Also, the hotel shares watersport facilities with the neighboring Vista Sol hotel. There are regular aerobics, water games and other beach activities to join, while the little ones can amuse themselves at the kids' club.

Two a la carte restaurants are staffed with friendly service. Choices include Japanese Teppanyaki, Italian or a buffet filled with various flavors and styles. There are 3 bars to choose from, too. The 2 beach bars, Utopia and Spirits, make relaxing on the beautiful beach an experience you just cannot miss. Nirvana Beach is private access, and you can relax on the comfy beach beds while enjoying beachside service.

There isn't a party atmosphere to avoid for some quiet time like you would find at the bigger all-inclusive resorts. However, there are still some daily and nightly entertainment options on select nights to get your groove on without getting too out of hand. Events include participation shows, karaoke, live singers and more. But if you are looking for a beach-party extravaganza or a romp in a casino, there are plenty of options in the area.

This hotel is All-Inclusive.
Features include:

  • Food services including all meals and snacks
  • Beverage services including local liquors, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, and wine by the glass
