DO NOT GO HERE DONT LISTEN TO ANY OTHER REVIEWS

I AM STILL WRITING IN ALL CAPS TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH NOT TO GO HERE! DO NOT LISTEN TO ANY OTHER REVIEWS HERE I AM NOT SURE HOW ANYONE HAD AN EVEN DECENT TIME HERE. The food was INSANELY BAD. We lived off food we got from the airports and the occasional decent thing we could eat like bacon and eggs for breakfast. The room was dirty when we arrived, they blast music all day from 8 am until Midnight. The pool was gross and had an ELECTRIC WIRE exposed on the side by the bar. The beach is small and full of vendors who will not leave you alone for a minute. Each night almost every restaurant was closed because of the "low season" and you had to choose between 2 places to each instead of 6. The staff is rude and will say awful things about you if you do not speak spanish. My girlfriend who was with me understands spanish because she speaks Italian so we knew every word. We were in the sun club VIP which is basically no different than anywhere else in the resort. They mopped the floor next to us while we ate so we almost slipped getting up from the table. The rice was like eating sand, the fruit is colorless and tasteless, my steak basically turned bright red after cutting into it and not like a medium rare steak. Even the bread was rock hard. The drinks at all the bars are not mixed or made right. There is only presidente beer which tasted like apple juice. There is no one around to serve you or help you. There is no activities or entertainment at least worth doing unless you like people singing children's songs or awkward covers of Justin Beiber. There is nothing really in the area to do either. The beach isn't too nice either and the "free watersports" staff are not helpful and hassle you for tips. The management will do a very half honest job of trying to accommodate you and attempted to bad mouth us in spanish until another worker warned them we knew what they were saying. Afterwards they would not leave us alone to check on us and couldn't get a moment alone it was like we were being followed. I at many times was worried about my safety and almost contacted the US Embassy. DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF SOMEONE WILL PAY YOU TO! Oh also Cheap Caribbean will basically prove to you they do not care about how your trip is and they will also side with the resort and believe the resort that they are accommodating you above and beyond.,

Very nice

I've been to other resorts but this is my favorite one so far. It is small and has everything a larger resort would have. We (my 10 yr old and myself) stayed in the best location! We were within a 4 minute walk from everything, the beach, the pools and the food. The beach was amazing, clean and no seaweed, unlike most other beaches. There is a nice shaded area where you can sit, if you are in the Sunscape VIP club. I didn't even know I was a VIP guest but I was and was able to take advantage of a more private area with a jacuzzi and snack bar with premium drinks. There is also a little coffee shop on the resort, great for snacks and coffee of coarse! There are other little shops in that same building. We were lucky enough to be there while they had a sale, 40% off!! I believe it was on a Saturday and that is when we did all of our souvenir shopping. The food was OK, pizza bar was fantastic. The only downside to food was that the oriental restaurant is 13+ My son was not able to make it and we had waited a few days to try that restaurant... very displeased about the age restriction but I get its nice to have a sit down meal without infants crying or causing commotion. Great value for the cheap price!

Best honeymoon spot!

This place was amazing overall. We stayed in the VIP section where there was a private jacuzzi, an open bar and snacks all day. The people were very warm and welcoming! We originally had a double room but when we asked to change for a king size they were more than happy to change it for us. Food was all inclusive. The excursions were awesome and the spa was great too!! Well worth the price.

best purchase

We were very skeptical about the resort because of the ride and how long it was from the airport, however once getting here it was absolutely beautiful. We were given a room right next to the pool. Everything is close on the resort and the food is delicious compared to other food I have had on other vacation resorts. It is very clean in the rooms and in the dining restaurants. We went on the catamaran which took us to two different coral reefs and then sailing before coming back to the resort. We also went on the atv riding excursion which was so much fun and showed us a breath taking beach and fresh water river followed by cocunut drinks. I have nothing to say but good things about this place and would definitly recommend it to anyone wanting to go to the dominican!
