Great vacation on a resort

I had a great time at this resort. All the staff were extremely friendly. The pool bar waiter (Yeralki) was great with the drinks, patient and very friendly and we enjoyed him so much. The manager at the buffet, (Carlos) excelled in hospitality. He checked on everyone and made sure we were with smile at all times. He had a very warming demeanor. I appreciated the services. There were multiple restaurants but overall i liked the Thai better then the others. The buffet had plenty choices and different options daily. Wasn’t too ecstatic of the other restaurants. Room service wasn’t so bad, the food was extremely good but the wait for it was ridiculous. Overall i would definitely visit this place again

Great value

We just returned from our short getaway in Dreams Dominicus and we had a wonderful time. The grounds are immaculate and all of the employees work very hard. Beach is small but very nice. We spent most of our time by the pool. I highly recommend this resort to anyone and I will be returning for sure. The only issue we had was with people that were selling some merchandise at the resort and they were very pushy.

Beautiful and relaxing

Beautiful and very relaxing resort you just run out of things to do if there for a long period of time. You get harassed to do massages, surveys and do romantic dinners by someone new every day if your there as a couple and last even with all the gates and security it’s not safe there. The locals are allowed to walk along the beach lining to bother guest to come to there gift shops which is outside the resort and i wouldn’t advise you to share your real name with anyone there because that’s how they find what room your staying in. So tips stay within the resort at all times during resort stay, theirs a saying if it comes looking for you do not do it kindly say no so that you don’t get any of the locals mad their very pushy for you to purchase things from them, lock everything valuable away in room safe, do not be a show off or look flashy poverty there is high don’t know who’s watching, do not travel or walk around night time if it’s not with a large group, also bring some spare cash to tip the faculty at the resort they work hard and last do not share your name with anybody if you don’t feel comfortable because that’s how they can look up your booking and find your room. Other than that happy and safe travels the dream resort at la Ramona is worth seeing!

Balanced opinion

we were allotted midnight flight from Newark (Spirit 1035). Landed around 5:00 am rached the resort @ about 700am. This was the flight given to us by Cheap Carr.. The reception told us that check in is At3;00pm. What to do until the. We had to argue with Nillo. H efinal gave us the roo around 10:00am. Lack of communication betwwen Cheap carr. and reception desk. we paid for the room but we had to leave the room early to catch the midnight flight again Spirit 1036. the reception wanted us to leave the on room before 12;00m on 6/30 Louis and Benny of Cheap carr. understood our problem and talked to reception. and settle the problem. But this gave us lot of uneasy time. Loiuis and Benny deserve applause for high standard of customer service. For the short time we were it rained for last two days. Heavy rain curtailed our outback trip.. No fault of Allehanddro the tour guide. who is knowledgeable. We had to cut down the outbck trip and it raine dheavilu on the last day we could niot do but get massages. The grill was Higher tan the sitting arrangement o Hibachi grill in Himatsu restaurant. Could not see action by the chef Can we get compenasated for bad wether? the staff was courteous in all the depts/ Price of the package was expensive.

What We'd Change

This kid-friendly resort has lots of families, so you're kids are going to have a blast. If you need quiet time, head to the spa.

It's 20 minutes from the La Romana airport - Beach Eden is just a heartbeat away.

Connecting rooms are available, so it's great for families.

When you come in from the sun, you can cool down with ping pong and board games.

For something totally different & to make you feel small, there's a giant chess board.

Set sail on boat and fishing excursions. There's a charge, but you'll be hooked.

How about dance and Spanish lessons? It's free and only requires feet & mouth coordination.
