Great Island

Beautiful Grounds and beach even though over crowded. Buffet was good, but would recommend reservations for the restaurants. Did not want to wait in line! Staff was great!

Worst Vacation Ever

The trip was terrible from beginning to end. We choose to stay at RIU Palace Paradise Island because we stayed at a RIU Palace in jamacia and it was glorious. At Paradise island we had to deal with a dirty room almost every day. No water to drink more than once. The resort running out of food more than once. Rude staff that ignored you. The same buffet everyday even though they claimed they had theme nights. A gross sewage smell all over the resort and no activities plabned. This is me being pretty generous also. I would never recommend RIU Palace Paradise Island to my enemy and trying to contact them is a joke. They try to place the blame on the booking site instead of taking responsibility for their staff. I paid money pretty much to be mistreated and miserable. I'm very interested unhappy with the resort. I ended up with a face rash from the unclean sheets and my travel companion got food poisoning from the food. And the drinks were a joke. There was nothing premium about the liquor and it left us sick and unable to drink after the second day.

Boring Resort

This resort is very small and lacks entertainment. The pool is nice but is shaded much of the day. There is only one inside bar and it is not large or very nice. Most of the patrons were bored and looking for something to do. Especially in the evening before and after dinner there is nothing to do but sit in the lobby. There is no gift shop to browse or even purchase sunscreen.

What's to Love

No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.

Primo beachfront locale - three miles of satiny sand hugged by luscious, aquamarine water.

The Renova Spa - the massages squeeze the stress right out of your bod.

The rockin' theme nights twice a week - get ready to kick it. Put on your party pants.

Krystal Fusion Restaurant - it's a journey into the unexplored terrain of epic new sensations.

The unfailing, beachtastic service & attention. You'll feel like the beach royalty that you are.

What We'd Change

You may not find as many on-site activities like the other mega resorts, but the prime beachfront property makes up for it.

Why You Should Go

There's a hoppin', Vegas-style casino next door - grab sweet Lady Luck and try your hand.

The water sports (jet skis, water skiing & more) will blow you out of the water. Hang on!

You can dive into aahh-mazing excursions like swimming with the dolphins.

Atlantis next door has a great nightclub when you want to get your dance on.

The inventive entertainment staff is off-the-charts creative. They won't disappoint.

You're close to downtown Nassau - see the old quarter, museums, zoo and botanical gardens.

Hotel Description

Riu Palace Paradise Island (Adults-Only): All-Inclusive Bahamas Bonanza

Bahama Mama Mia does this Riu have it all. And then some. Let's start with the dreamy, three-mile stretch of silky sand, where you can chillax, get your drink on (and on - no one's counting) and ignore the world, or hit a game of beach volleyball and burn some calories. And that's just the tip of the beachberg. Toggle between the Jacuzzi at the epic pool and indulge in stress-ousting treatments at the lush spa aka Relaxation Central, or hit the slots next door and hang at the always-festive, hip bars until the sea cows come home. Is that a "yes" we hear? When might we expect you?

It's Time to Get Your Riu On.
