Awesome vacation!

Went for our 25th Anniversary staff was friendly and accommodating. Great food. Had special dinner at Malmok and rest of our meals at Atlantis buffet. Easy check in /out and everyone including cleaning staff were friendly. Great to not have to leave resort for entertainment, casino or shopping although we did venture out. Had professional photo session to commemorate the occasion and they were great too, DePalm tours located right in hotel the UTV tour was amazing! It was great not to be haggled by beach vendors all day long. Overall great time no complaints at all.

Just ok/disappointed

The rooms are a huge disappointment. Dirty, broken tiles, water damage - definitely need updated. Great bars but the restaurants were a huge letdown. The only one that was amazing was the Steak House. The buffets are better than restaurants. The beach is way too crowded. We had to be on the beach at 530am to get an umbrella & people were fighting over them. Elevators were fast. Coffee was really good. Employees were awesome but that didn’t make up for all the negatives. We should have accepted the “upgrade” to the family hotel instead because it’s much much nicer.

Just ok/disappointed

Solid 3 Star Experience

The grounds are great, pool, beach, etc. always well maintained. The staff is always accommodating and happy. The buffet always meets the expectations of a buffet. Good, no complaints. The On-site restaurants though are terrible. Not barely 1 star. If it were not for everything else this could ruin a good vacation. If you stay, just go to the buffet. Also, they need to learn what Rosé is and have it available. Pink wine is not Rosé. I don’t think this is too much to ask. Aperol would also be amazing. The general manager is very interested in feedback and is very kind. It’s definitely a trip I would do again now having the right understanding. He also mentioned a full renovation in 2021.

Good Value depending on what you're looking for

Beach and Pool -The resort has a nice pool and beach area. Be prepared to be up at 6am if you want a front row beach seat and bring towel clips to reserve your spot. Food and Drink - The food is ok if you're not picky or don't have any allergies or intolerance's. If you do, you can wrangle a manager that will have a dish made for you. Just be aware it will take some extra time. Drinks were tasty but the alcohol seemed diluted. If you're not a huge eater, it might be more cost effective to stay somewhere that provides a free breakfast Inside the hotel and rooms - Disappointed in the interior of the space. Paint is slapped on rust and just not much attention to detail. Shower grout was moldy, etc. Overall if you love all-inclusives and aren't picky about your sleeping space, this is the place for you! Staff is mostly friendly. Only ran into a few people who weren't thrilled to be there.
